A Study Of The Musical Characteristics And Singing Of Handel's Arias

In the context of western music,it is cleared that Baroque period is revealed as a key period.In fact,the German composer Handel can be viewed as a master musician throughout the development of European music,especially in the post Renaissance period.The masterpieces that Handel created can be viewed as one of the most completed preserved at present.What is more,his touching-heart opera singing art.It is usually used in hero or love stories,mainly in Italian,and some protagonists are written for eunuch singers.Although Handel was in the heyday of eunuch singers,many of his works were mainly soprano works.<bel piacere>,<va godendo> and < Lascia ch'io pianga> are three famous arias in Handel's opera,which are highly sung.In this study,Handel's three masterpieces will be analyzed in details,in terms of “the artistic characteristics,music style as well as singing research of his opera aria” so as to help us more accurately grasp and recognize Handel's opera and vocal works.
