The Semantic And Pragmatic Study Of Subject-object Translocation Sentences

The subject-object translocation sentence is a special sentence pattern existing in modern Chinese that can be legally established and has the same semantics after the subject and object are translocated.On the surface,the sentence seems to be unbound to the Chinese word order,but this particularity is actually limited by the semantics and pragmatics of the language system.In this paper,the subject-object translocation sentence is taken as the research object,and the new classification system is constructed based on the self-built corpus.The semantic analysis is carried out on the basis of the new system,and the semantics of the sentence translocation can be studied.Motivation and pragmatic selection mechanism,and try to use the subject-object translocation sentence to illustrate the rationality of the "semantic-pragmatic" interface theory,and explore the association and interaction mechanism between semantics and pragmatics from a deeper level.First of all,based on the "Syntax and Semantic Category Marking Set",the 459 subject-object translocation sentences collected and screened were collected for corpus annotation processing,and a new classification system of subject-object translocation sentence patterns was constructed.The system consists of two levels.In the first level,based on the 296 verbs selected in the corpus(after the elimination of the repetition),the classification is based on the stated nodule category,and classifies the subject translocation sentence into automatic core,cooperative core,state core,existence core,relationship core and perceptual core.In the second level,the paper classifies the sub-category according to the role scope of the NP(including the basic role category and the additional role category).The subject-object translocation sentence is divided into 29 sub-categories.The sentence pattern with automatic core as the core includes 4 sub-categories,with cooperative core as the core includes 18 sub-categories,with state core as the core includes 2 sub-categories,with existence core as the core includes 3 sub-categories,with relationship core as the core includes 1 sub-category,and with perceptual core as the core includes 1 sub-category.Secondly,based on the new system,a detailed semantic analysis of each type of subject-object translocation sentence is carried out.This paper chooses to analyze the semantic structure from the VP of the subject-replacement clause and the NP before and after.In the semantic study of verbs,firstly,according to the lexical genre mark set,the verb type of the grammar is entered,and on this basis,refer to the "syntax category meaning mark set" analyzes the semantic features of verbs in various types of sentences,extracting the common meanings of the same type of sentences and the distinctive meanings of different categories.This paper also summarizes the semantic structure model of the subject-object translocation sentence,and points out the structural expression of the subject-object translocation sentence in each mode and the difficulty of realizing the translocation.The research results show that there are 30 semantic structure patterns in the main guest transposition sentence under the new system,and the whole sentence meaning expressed by each semantic structure pattern is analyzed in the summary mode,and the role category meanings of the NP before and after are extracted.In addition,the paper further analyzes the semantic problem of sentence patterns with ambiguous phenomena.Thirdly,from the two dimensions of semantics and pragmatics,the semantic reciprocity motivation and pragmatic selection mechanism of translocatable bits are discussed.From the perspective of semantic motivation,this paper summarizes the following three reasons: the opposite feature of the relationship is ambiguous,the verbs no longer emphasize the action,and the semantic orientation of the component of the dynamic complement has two-way.From the perspective of pragmatic choice,this paper chooses the verbal communication activities and discourse two kinds of genre application scenarios,and analyzes the transposition selection mechanism of the subject-object translocation sentence from the following four aspects: the theme and the focus change,the applicable context The differences and ambiguity of differentiation,the dynamic selectivity of discourse,the economic principles of language and the influence of the principle of conversational cooperation.In the study of the dynamic selection of the subject-object translocation sentence,this paper discusses from the perspective of the transformation of discourse perspective and the choice of discourse cohesion.The selectivity of discourse cohesion is from the cohesion mode and the cohesion order.Aspects are examined.In the cohesive mode,two modes are included: the cohesive mode of continuous conversion of topics and the cohesive mode of topic control;four ordering principles are analyzed under the coherence order: principle of information transmission order,principle of time sequence,principle of spatial order,principle of cognitive order.Finally,this paper attempts to explore the interface problem of "semantic-pragmatic" from the perspective of Chinese,and uses the subject-object translocation sentence to illustrate the rationality of the "semantic-pragmatic" interface theory,and explore the association and interaction mechanism between semantics and pragmatics from a deeper level.Through research,it is unreasonable to overemphasize the independence of semantics and pragmatics or overemphasize the unity of semantics and pragmatics.There are boundaries and there are also interaction mechanisms.The study found that cognition can be a link between semantics and pragmatics.This paper attempts to provide new examples for the applicability of the semantic-pragmatic interface theory in Chinese,thus enriching the research content of the semantic-pragmatic interface theory and enhancing the explanatory power of the theory.Due to the influence of subjective factors,there are still some areas for improvement.In particular,the deeper exploration of the semantic and pragmatic interaction correlation mechanism is only a preliminary exploration,and the depth of the research is relatively shallow.Therefore,the exploration of the "semantic-pragmatic" interface problem from the perspective of Chinese is urgently needed for further research by follow-up scholars.
