Micro-course is the product of the development of educational information,is a new teaching tool,while changing the traditional teaching methods,it can arouse the students’ enthusiasm and attention to a greater extent.In teaching practice has been supported and recognized by the majority of teachers,has achieved good teaching results.With the development of quality education and new curriculum reform,English teaching in primary schools is not limited to the mastery of English knowledge and ability,and emotional and competence goals have become the focus of primary English education.It directly determines the effectiveness of primary school English learning.This study attempts to make a systematic analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of micro course teaching in primary schools through the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,so as to understand the factors that affect the effectiveness of micro-lesson teaching in primary schools.Combined with the current research situation at home and abroad,it can be found that there are more researches on the effectiveness of micro-lesson teaching,but less on the exertion of micro-lesson teaching effectiveness and the discussion of the influencing factors.The innovation of this study lies in the analysis of the effectiveness of micro-English teaching in primary school by probing into the teaching effect and individual factors,family factors and teachers’ factors.In this study,500 students of Grade 1-6 in Qingdao S Primary School were investigated by questionnaire,interview and other methods.According to their gender,grade,class cadres,extracurricular tutorial English,English ranking,English score,This paper makes an empirical study on the relationship between father’s education level,mother’s education level,father’s occupation,mother’s occupation,family monthly income,understanding of Micro-course and the effectiveness of English micro-class teaching.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)From the quantitative research analysis found that:(1)effective teaching of English Micro course has a high degree of achievement in the realization of students’ ability goal and emotional goal,in which boys focus more on the development of learning ability,and girls focus more on learning emotional development;(2)in grade,there was a significant difference between grade and ability dimension.The influence of English micro-course teaching on the learning creativity,cooperation ability and learning attitude of the six grade students is the most obvious.(3)compared with students with lower English scores,English micro-course teaching is more helpful to students with better English performance;(4)English Micro-course teaching has obvious positive influence on students’ learning cooperation ability,students’ thirst for knowledge and learning attitude in taking part in extracurricular remedial English.(5)The betterthe students in English,the more ideal the ability and emotional development they acquired through English Micro-course,there is a positive correlation between the two.(2)from the qualitative research analysis found that:(1)Micro-course teaching is very obvious to the students’ classroom transfer effect,and the classroom discipline is obviously improved,which plays an obvious role in the development of students’ learning emotion.(2)The reasonable arrangement of autonomous Learning and group cooperative learning in the course of English Micro course teaching,so that students have more independent thinking space;(3)Some teachers believe that micro-classes do not have a positive impact on all students,and even have a negative impact on some students.There is a big gap between English micro-course teaching and traditional classroom teaching,which requires teachers to change teaching methods appropriately and students to change their learning methods appropriately.Based on the above conclusions,the following recommendations are made in this study:(1)Strengthening teachers’ ability of micro-course production and use through training.(2)Cultivating students’ correct study habits in micro Course.(3)"Teach according to students’ individual differences"(4)Carry out home-school cooperation to improve the educational level of parents;(5)Establish and improve the system of building resources. |
