YiRen is an active musician in Jiangsu in the middle and late 20 th century.Her academic contributions are manifested in many aspects:As the Pioneer of the Folk Songs of the Same Clan,She regards “folk song research”as the starting point and breakthrough point of her academic research,and opens up a new path in this field.From an interdisciplinary perspective,she conducts in-depth research on folk song from the perspectives of ethnomusicology,music morphology,folklore and other aspects,thus forming her own academic research characteristics,that has enlightening significance for the“the same clan folk song”can not be ignored;As the promoter of Jiangsu Regional Culture,On the one hand,she started with folk songs,not only participated in the compilation of 《Jiangsu Volume》,but also wrote a large number of introductory articles of folk songs.She used modern multimedia means to produce music appreciation feature films and broadcast them on Jiangsu TV and radio stations.On the other hand,she devotes her perspective to “people”,pays close attention to Jiangsu musicians,comments on their biographies,and makes important contributions to the collection,collation and promotion of Jiangsu music culture;As a contributor to the discipline of Nanjing Arts Institute musicology,he has been in the same boat with Nanjing Academy of Art,from Jinan to Qingdao,Qingdao to Wuxi,and Wuxi to Nanjing,witnessing the initial construction,development and growth of the discipline of ethnomusicology in Nanjing Academy of Art.At present,YiRen has not been fully recognized by the academic circles,and his life experience、 academic contribution and his own value have not been fully revealed.This paper takes YiRen as the core,through studying his academic achievements and interviewing relevant figures,collects and collates data,summarizes his academic contributions on the basis of combing his life experience,and then reveals his value and significance and limitations in the current social context.
