Junichiro Tanizaki is a great literary hero in the history of Japanese literature.He holds a high position in the literary circles of Japan and the world.His creative activities began in 1910(Meiji 43),and lasted until 1965(Showa 40).In the fifty-five years,he left many famous works,such as Shunkinsho,Chijin no ai and Snow.His novel world often goes beyond the shackles of traditional morality,seeking beauty in evil and indulging in the world of functional pleasure and aestheticism.Tattoo,as Tanizaki’s first work in the true sense,is the origin of his literature.The aesthetic ideas condensed in Tattoo Spreaded Tanizaki’s literary creation for more than half a century.This paper takes Tattoo as the research object,and on the basis of careful reading of the text,explores the aesthetic concept of "Tattoo" through aesthetics,psychology and even linguistics.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part explains the origin of the problem,advance research,research ideas and methods one by one.The main body is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is about Tanizaki’s life and literary creation.In the part of his life,the important events of Tanizaki from birth to death are sorted out in chronological order.According to Tanizaki ’s writing style,the literary creation part is divided into three periods,namely,"Cinda taste","Western worship" and "return of the Orient".The purpose of this chapter is to pave the way for the following discussion of the aesthetic concept of The Tattoo.The second chapter is a comprehensive summary of the background,content and characteristics of Tattoo and its status in the literary history,one by one.The third chapter explores the narrative aesthetics of Tattoo,and analyses the beauty of its environment,characters,plot and language.This paper makes a detailed analysis of what kind of beautiful environment Tanizaki has created for readers,how to set the occupation and identity of the characters,how to push the story to a climax through two pictures,and the language used in describing the feet of the girl and Qingji tattoos for the girl.The fourth chapter is about the aesthetic concept of Tattoo.This paper makes an analysis of the aesthetic thoughts in Tattoo,such as taking evil as beauty,functional pleasure and female worship,and explores the characteristics and causes of these aesthetic thoughts.The final conclusion is a summary of this paper,and draws a conclusion: Junichiro Tanizaki makes Tattoo extremely aesthetic by ingeniously setting the environment,characters,plots and accurately using the pinched language.Its main aesthetic ideas can be summarized as immersion in the world of evil beauty,the stimulation of the pursuit of functional pleasure and the absolute worship of women.
