Research On The Quality Management Issues Of A Company's International Project Translation

Translation is a complete process that multi-national enterprises transform a specific product to target products,which meet different target market demand in both language and culture.It is a major component of enterprise globalization.With the further development of economic globalization and rapid changes of information technology,translation industry faces many challenges.In order to achieve the expected goals and meet clients’ expectation,translators need to deepen quality management philosophy and enhance technology with ever-growing project complexity and quality requirement.So,to ensure project management quality,translators need to analyze market demand and source features academically from the point of academic view;then explore translation project management method and summarize internal laws.Quality management should be paid high attention to during translation management as translation quality directly determines whether the project can meet clients’ requirements.Firstly,this paper summarizes current translation projects management situation at home and abroad,with exposing problems in translation quality management.Secondly,it focuses on research value of translation projects management on basis of quality management.Then,this paper generalizes translation quality management standard specification and related management theory.Tasking representative Enterprise A as example,this paper collects Enterprise A’s problems in current translation quality management and analyzes root causes,on the basis of quality evaluation sheet from client.this paper optimizes translation quality model from three levels,pre-text,context and text,with the concept that identification of ideas of layer-management is key element for translation quality influence.Finally,it provides implementation strategies of improving translation quality and verifies practicality of this model,which is designed from client,translation enterprises and translators.From the point view of translation quality management,this paper aims at providing some theoretical and practical supports for foreign translation with Chinese as the source language under the strategic background of “the Belt and Road Initiative”,based on rich project management experiences from author and deepening application of layer-management quality management in translation quality management.
