A Study Of The Modern Uyghur Kuslav Turkish Vocabulary

aktu county is located in the western border of China,in the southwest of xinjiang uyghur autonomous region.in the east,kosrap township is bordered by kachung,qoshrap,and damsi township in yarkand county.it is bordered by the tajik nationality town of aktu county,kachung township in the west and aq tala in the north.the qizil tagh township in aqtu county is bordered by the aq dala ranch and is bordered by datong township in the tasqurghan tajik autonomous county in the south.kosrap was an important town on the ancient silk road and located on the intersection of various civilizations.due to the long-term contact of various cultures and interaction of different people,the kosrap dialect has been formed here with its unique characteristics.in recent years,some achievements have been made in the investigation and research of modern uygur dialects,however there are few achievements about the kosrap dialect.he reason why the kosrap dialect has not been noticed by many scholars so far is closely related to kosrap's geographical location.as a student from kosrap,i found that kosrap dialect exhibits many different characteristics from standard uyghur in terms of phonology,lexicon and grammar.the lexical features are particularly significant,and it is of importance to study the vocabulary of kosrap dialect in a systematic and comprehensive way.this study mainly discusses the lexical features of the kosrap dialect.based on the first-hand information obtained from the fieldwork,the existing research results and the methods of descriptive dialectology,historical comparative linguistics and lexical semantics are used in the study,and through a systematic analysis and description,the differences between kosrap dialect and the standard uyghur vocabulary are discussed.it analyzes the source of the kosrap vocabulary;it includes the old words in the kosrap dialect and the borrowings from different sources.this paper will discuss the topic from the following aspects:the first part is the introduction.this part briefly introduces the general of kosrap area,the current situation of the study of kosrap dialect,the significance and purpose of the topic,the ideas and methods of the study,and the sources of the materials.the second part is the comparative study between kosrap dialect and standard uygur vocabulary,this part mainly compared the vocabulary of kosrap with standard uyghur,and point out the similarities and differences between them.the third part is the formation of words in kosrap dialect.the fourth part is the etymology of kosrap dialect lexicon.including the old uyghur words and Chinese,arabic and persian loanwords in the dialectthe fifth part is the cultural connotation of the local words in the kosrap dialect.it includes the local cultural words,toponymys,names and nicknames of people,kinship terms and so on.the appendix part includes:(i)the fieldwork materials with Chinese translation and grammatical comments.(ii)a vocabulary comparison table of kosrap dialect and oytagh dialect of kirghiz.
