“Fieldwork” Start From Self

The methods of artists creation show multiplex tendency from the beginning of1990 s.However,there is a risk that the artists would lose themselves while using interdisciplinary approaches.By referring to the “reflexive” view of “reflexive sociology”and artist case to demonstrate the importance of “Reflexivity”in the process of fieldwork,this paper questions the fascination of "fieldwork” in the art field of late years,and puts forward the viewpoint that the art actor must have a reflexive thinking to avoid the risk of getting lost from the perspective of artists.This embodiment of the artistic view of “self-fieldwork” is opposite to the traditional method of anthropological fieldwork.“ Reflexivity ” is embedded in the artist's fieldwork and the whole process of artistic creation,and reflected in the artist's acquisition of his own life experience,the projection of the feelings,and the cognition and location of identity.In order to emphasize the importance of the formation of individual consciousness,the concept of reflexivity is extended to the participants and viewer at the end of this paper.
