Abstract/Summary:
The study of Chinese trend complement is very important for foreign students,but it is also very difficult for foreign students to learn because of its complex structural and changeable meanings.Since there is no grammatical content of the trend complement in Thai,it is usually used to describe the grammatical content of the trend complement with verbs,so the Thai students are relatively unfamiliar with the trend complement,and they will inevitably be confused in the study of Chinese trend complement.So most Thai students have great difficulty in learning the trend complement.On the basis of collecting,sorting out and summarizing the literature and works about "Thai learners’learning Chinese compound tendency complement",this paper focuses on "Thai learners’acquisition errors of Chinese compound tendency verb "come here" and "go there" by referring to the previous research results,supplemented by error analysis and questionnaire survey which in order to grasp them more comprehensively.The errors are summarized as follows:errors in errors in misrepresentation,omission,and misaddition errors in the process of learning Chinese trend complements by Thai students.To enable learners to correct errors in time so that they can use Chinese correctly and improve their Chinese proficiency.The full text can be divided into five parts:Chapter I:Explanation of the significance of the topic.As a Thai student studying Chinese,the writer used to feel unfamiliar with the meaning of compound tendency verb"come here"and"go there"in the process of learning tendency complement,and found that many Thai students made obvious mistakes in the use of compound tendency complement verb"come here"and"go there",which shows that Chinese tendency complement with complex structure is a difficult task for learners.Therefore,based on this phenomenon,the author makes an analysis and discussion on the mistakes made by Thai students in learning the complement"come here"and"go there".Chapter II:This chapter mainly makes a comparative analysis of the trend complements between Chinese and Thai about"come here"and"go there",as well as the comparison between Chinese trend complements and similar Thai words,and illustrates with examples the meaning of Chinese trend complements.Chapter III:First,a questionnaire survey was conducted among Thai students,who mainly study in Chinese major from Oriental University of Thailand.This paper adopts the form of choice questions and translation to investigate the learners’mastery of the usage of compound tendency verbs"come here"and"go there".Then,through the questionnaire survey,it summarizes the types of errors that Thai students are prone to produce in the process of learning tendency complements:Misrepresentation,Omission,misaddition,Wrong order and mistake.Chapter IV:This paper examines and analyses the major causes of errors made by Thai students in acquiring Chinese compound tendencies complement"come here"and"go there",which can be divided into four categories:native language blending,negative transfer of native language,learner’s self-learning ability,textbooks and teaching.Chapter V:For the reasons of making errors in the process of acquiring Chinese compound trend complements by Thai students,we need to investigate and formulate some solutions.Therefore,due to the differences between teaching and textbooks,this paper puts forward some suggestions for teaching.Hoping this paper can provide some help for Thai learners in acquiring Chinese trend complements.It also provides some suggestions for teaching other than learning.
