XieShengYunXue is a book of rhyme in the early Qing Dynasty.Although it has not been assigned to a book,it has manuscript and transcript,but it reflects the phonetic system of the northern official dialect during the Kangxi period,and contains the advanced idea of Fanqie improvement,which has opened the way for the later rhyme books in the aspect of Fanqie.It is an important material to study the phonetic system and Fanqie improvement of Chinese modern Mandarin.The main characteristic of XieShengYunXue is its arrangement style and modified reverse tangent system.The book is divided into twelve parts.Under each part,it is divided into four rhymes,21 consonants per rhymes,four pitchs of voice under each tone,and some minor rhymes and homonyms under each tone.This arrangement method is different from the traditional rhyme books of the middle ancient times and the rhyme books of the Central Plains in recent times,which can more intuitively reflect the phonetic system,and the Fanqie of XieShengYunXue can be obviously divided into two systems: the new Fanqie and the old Fanqie.New Fanqie which only appears in the homonym group of small rhyme initials and are all changed by ink are the improved reverse tangent.The old Fanqie appears in other small rhymes except the small rhyme head word in each homonym group,that is,following the old rhyme book.The idea of Fanqie improvement of rhyme books is contained in the new Fanqie.The modified words of Fanqie are divided into two categories: the basic words with no rhyme end,the supplementary words with nasal rhyme end;the reverse-cut words are divided into two categories: basic words,supplementary words,are mostly Ying,Xiao-rhyme words.The ultimate purpose of the Fanqie improvement is to simplify the Fanqie character and to make the top and bottom characters become sound naturally without the interference of the top and bottom character's initial consonants.YinYunChanWei absorbs the advantages of Fanqie improvement of XieShengYunXue,and further development,the Fanqie improvement to achieve extreme.At present,Some researches have been made on the background,author and phonetic system of XieShengYunXue,but only one or two problems have been discussed,and no systematic research has been done.Therefore,the topic of this paper has many important values.This thesis focuses on Zhou Saihua's revision of harmonics and rhyme,which is divided into five chapters.The first chapter,introduction,describes the research status,research value,research ideas and methods.Chapter II "introduction of XieShengYunXue",find out the edition of the book XieShengYunXue,analyze the background and author of the book by using the internal materials of the literature,and describe the style of the rhyme book in detail.There are only two manuscripts.A manuscript hidden in Taipei the Palace Museum,a total of 18 volumes,mainly based on Daming six years into a reprint of the book,WuYinJiYun cut and paste,for the original study of the south of the Qing Palace.The other is a transcript of the Shanghai Library,has 13 volumes.The existing two versions do not account for the time of the book,the author and so on.Through research and analysis,the time of completion of the book After the first year of Kangxi(1622).The second section describes the style of the book XieShengYunXue in detail,lists twelve tables to show the combination of each phonetic tone,and introduces three phonetic methods of the book.The last section briefly describes the creation of the book XieShengYunXue.The third chapter,the comparative study of Fanqie of XieShengYunXue and YinYunChanWei,is the focus of this paper,which is divided into two sections.The first section enumerates the modified Fanqie of XieShengYunXue in the order of twelve rhymes in order to find out the characteristics of modified Fanqie.Then we focus on the characteristics of the modified Fanqie and its modified Fanqie thought,that is,to simplify the Fanqie character,and to make the top and bottom characters become sound naturally without the interference of the top and bottom rhyme and the bottom consonant.Then it analyzes the five kinds of new Fanqie,and explores the characteristics of improved Fanqie.Finally,depend on the improved Fanqie system of XieShengYunXue and YinYunChanWei,it compares the modified Fanqie system and studies.,which is carried out from two aspects,and the inheritance and development of XieShengYunXue and "modified Fanqie" are carried out from two aspects.The fourth chapter,"the phonology of XieShengYunXue",is the focus of this paper.It is divided into four sections by examining the middle ancient position of the words and combing the consonant with the rules of phonetic evolution,the middle ancient origin of the vowel and its phonetic value.In the first section,the consonant system of XieShengYunXue is studied,and the consonant system of XieShengYunXue is discussed by combining the previous studies and the evolution of consonants since the middle ancient times.The second section studies the vowel system of XieShengYunXue,determines the middle ancient origin of each rhyme by investigating the position of twelve rhymes in the middle rhyme of each words,and studies the tone system of harmonic phonology.Chapter five,"the Evaluation of XieShengYunXue",reviews the style,Fanqie improvement and phonological system of XieShengYunXue.In general,XieShengYunXue is a valuable material for studying the history of Fanqie improvement and modern Chinese pronunciation,especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Therefore,the study of XieShengYunXue is of great significance.
