The Study Of Mongolian Place Names In "The King Of Western Regions"

“Qindingxiyutongwenzhi”is a work with six languages which recorded mountains.geographic names and during the regions of the Qing Emperor Qianlong.This work is rich in content,which refers to history,humanity,geography,language and so on in many fields.It providers very important data to make a research on history,geography,language and national in the Xinjiang of China and Central Asia.This thesis consists of five parts,which are perface,the first chapter about the universal law of geographic names in the work of Qindingxiyutongwenzhi the second chapter referning to literal feature of Mongolian geographic names in work of Qindingxiyutongwenzhi,the third chapter including the normative condition of Mongolian characters,the ending and the appendix.The preface demonstrates reason and meaning of the selected topic,research method and general situation of research.In the first chapter,it makes a research on the universal law of geographic names in the work of Qindingxiyutongwenzhi,in which we can see the future of Mongolian geographic names in the Western Regions.The second chapter mainly shows the research of the features arguing vowel,consonant and syllables of Mongolian geographic names in the work of Qindingxiyutongwenzhi.In the third chapter,it makes a research on the normantive ending in principle introduces the content of this thesis and the main ideas presented by the author,then expounted the main points of the thesis in a inductive way.The appendix includes a part of the work of Qindingxiyutongwenzhi and maps of the Western Regions.
