Narrative Research On Chinese Female Documentaries

In late 1980 s Chinese new record movement,women's documentary director rise,director Li Hong's "back to the Phoenix Bridge" won the 1997 Ogawa Shinsuke prize,then Chinese female documentary began to ascend the history stage,with Feng Yan directing "Bing" love DV "works,Yang B,Huang Ruxiang the old man","Dr Zhang" the landlord,"Mr.Jiang Liangzi" in the world received praise.The documentary films of these female directors show different sex characteristics different from those of the male records,and reflect the unique gender narrative characteristics of women.In recent years,China's policy of building cultural power and national cultural confidence has provided a good opportunity for documentary creation,especially the grand narrative documentary,which develops rapidly and spreads widely.Under this background,the narrative research of the independent female documentary shows its unique value,which is beneficial to the various styles of Chinese documentary.This paper adopts the research method combining theory with case study.Through the multi angle analysis of the specific films,the paper summarizes the narrative characteristics of the female documentary,which is divided into five parts.The first part mainly combs the development of the new record movement and the rise process of the female director,and analyzes the reasons for the development of the female documentary.The second part of the paper analyzes the narrative content and theme of the female documentary,and analyzes the characterization,the choice of subject matter and the expression of the theme in the documentary.The third part of the female documentary narrative discourse analysis,respectively from the narrative perspective,the narrative space,audio-visual language three aspects.Women documentary in the process of development also encountered many difficulties,the fourth part of the analysis of the difficulties faced by the female documentary narrative and provide the way for the future development.The fifth part expounds the basic idea of the creation of "Wu Yue","Wu Yue" is a documentary on women's theme,and consciously draws lessons from the narrative strategy of female documentary.The theme of female sex marriage is selected to tell the story of women.In narrative discourse,it embodies a certain female perspective and adopts a narrative language that emphasizes the change of women's psychological and emotional feelings.On the narrative theme,it reflects the unique life experience of women and guides the audience to think about women and life.In a word,through the study of female documentary narration,it can enrich the research of Chinese documentary narrative.With the diversified development of the record concept,it is believed that the development space and narrative art of Chinese women's documentary will bebetter and better.
