Public recognition and support is the foundation and premise of the regime's stability. In the early days of new China, the long-term estrangement between the communist party and the workers, the weakness of the working class consciousness and the complex ideological and political situation have made the CCP's policy of relying on the working class to carry out urban work meet a great challenge. This contradiction directly promoted the reform of the new regime to the workers. In this paper, the soochow private Hongsheng firewood factory founded by Liu Hongsheng,a national capitalist,is the center of the paper, with the application of archive literature and other relevant historical materials. This paper focuses on the empirical study of the political identity of workers in the early days of the PRC.By analyzing the Hongsheng firewood factory,we can find how the communist party of China set up political identity in nearly all illiterate and ideological workers and effect, revealing the logic and the performance of political identity. The paper is divided into introduction, text and epilogue three parts. The main body part is divided into four chapters. The first is background, including the develpment of Hongsheng firewood factory, the survival situation of the workers before and after liberation, the difficulties faced by the communist party takeover, and the political consideration of the Chinese communist party for the recognition of workers. It focuses on the hardship of workers' living conditions in private enterprises, the complexity of ideological and political situation, and the motivation and expectation of the Chinese communist party for workers in the changing times of regime change.Preliminary obtained the second chapter tells the new regime initially gained the political identity of the workers, through stabling prices, maintaining production, reliefing workers, adjusting the salary, building system of labor insurance and labor protection mechanism to guarantee the basic interests of the workers' demand. It is important to note that although workers' living standards have improved somewhat compared with before liberation, they are still poor. The workers' feeling of turnover is mainly due to the improvement of social and political status. The third chapter focuses on the communist party's efforts to shape workers into new workers who are needed by ideology. The CPC has been reforming and mobilizing from political status, trade union organization, democratic reform, thinking education and production. This is the main means of shaping the political identity of workers. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the effect of the guiding construction of the CPC with the theory of political identity, including the identity of workers, national identity and ideological identity, and political obedience on the behavior. The production work of the workers is fully integrated into the national ideology, and the national, collective and individual interests are integrated. The workers become a new type of socialist workers who obey the national political needs and actively produce.
