To the era in the early Ming Dynasty Hongwu era(1368-1487),although the calligraphers of the large number of groups,but in the political pressure containing and nobles preferences under the influence of “Guangeti”prevailed has thrived on the surface,but mediocre lifeless.Then,from Hongzhi to Longqing nearly 100 years(1488-1572),to achieve the transformation from the downturn to a climax,during this period,artists such as Zhu YunMing,Wen ZhenMing,such as WuMen calligraphers group have been rising.Chen Xian Zhang(1428-1500),who lived between the two periods,has a sober and profound exposition of calligraphy with a philosopher's eye.Chen Xian Zhang has no books on calligraphy,but his scattered discourse is not lacking in insight.In his view of calligraphy,there are deliberately alienated expressions and expressions which are advocated by the ancient calligraphic family.They also express their opinions on many aspects such as calligraphy,spirit,charm,nature,harmony and so on.This is commendable in the popularity of “Pavilion Pavilion style”.These views not only makes it become an independent school of calligraphy and its philosophy,literature,thought,influence other calligraphers of the Ming Dynasty,and inject fresh blood to the downturn in the mid Ming Dynasty calligraphy atmosphere,as even the late development of calligraphy,provides the aesthetic and philosophical enlightenment.Chen XianZhang calligraphy view research mainly from the following aspects: the first chapter studies some factors affecting the formation of the concept of Chen XianZhang calligraphy;the second chapter deeply explore the connotation of Chen XianZhang calligraphy view;the third chapter analyzes the influence and significance of the view of calligraphy,including Mao pen and calligraphy practice made its explore.
