The pagodas of Changle Temple and Huiguang Temple belong to the symbols of Kunming.But so far there is no one article about them.So I will have a research for the pagodas’ development in China and have a study and discussion on the two pagodas,especially,when were the pagodas built,the characteristics,value and history of them.The first part of this article pays attention to introducing the pagodas’ history in China,and according to the materials,some principles of Fo to introducing the types of pagodas.Then connecting pictures with words to analyzing the characteristics about dense eaves pagoda,at the same time,we will compare the pagodas’ differences which all in Tang dynasty but from the central and the southwestern China base on their purposes and their style of building.The second part is the most important one in this passage.Because in this part we will study the names and histories of the two pagodas at first,secondly,according to the pagodas and some information about them to analyzing their characteristics.At last,we will discuss why the two pagodas were built in Kunming at that age base on the development of Nanzhao,economy,society,culture and religions are not ignored.In the end,due to the introduction of the pagodas of Changle temple and Huiguang temple,it is necessary for us to research the value and the importance of them,so the main idea in the last part is the value of the two pagodas.
