Research On The Rule Of Medication Of "Four Famous Doctors In Beijing" In The Treatment Of Febrile Disease During The Period Of The Republic Of China

Background and Objective:During the Republic of China,cholera,diphtheria,intestinal typhoid,encephalitis,scarlet fever,dysentery and other infectious diseases were widespread due to constant wars and social unrest.A large number of medical activities have prompted Chinese medical doctors to accumulate clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of warm diseases.Since the beginning of the 21st century,local or large-scale epidemics of infectious diseases have occurred from time to time.In 2020,COVID-19 broke out in a large scale in the world.According to its epidemic laws and symptoms,China has applied traditional Chinese medicine theory to prevent and control the epidemic,which achieved good therapeutic effects.Many acute febrile infectious diseases belong to the category of warm diseases.Using data mining methods to study the medication rules and characteristics of the four famous doctors of warm diseases in Beijing has important practical value for the effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseasesMethods:(1)Medical words,medical theories and medical records of the four famous doctors in Beijing about warm disease have been collected and sorted out,and documentary method has been used to sort out and analyze the medication law of warm disease in the academic thoughts of the four famous doctors in Beijing during the Republic of China period;(2)With the help of statistical methods such as frequency analysis and association rule analysis in data mining,medication characteristics of the four famous doctors in Beijing for the treatment of warm diseases has been analyzed.Results:Xiao Longyou,Kong Bohua,Shi Jinmo,and Wang Fengchun mainly prescribed medicinal with cold nature and bitter and sweet flavors,which enter the lung,stomach and liver meridians,in the treatment of warm disease.The four natures,five flavors and meridian entry are basically the same.The use of single-flavored medicinal and the selection of commonly used medicinal combinations have their own characteristicsFor the treatment of warm diseases of warm-heat class,Xiao Longyou uses Zhimu as the core drug,and usually uses Gancao,Zhimu,Zhebeimu,Mudanpi,Zhizi,Nanshashen,Huangqin,Niuxi,Xingren,and Tianhuafen,and combination of Zhebeimu-Zhimu,Tianhuafen-Zhimu,Gancao-Nanshashenare favored,which have the characteristics of clearing away heat and dispelling evil,protecting the yin and body fluid.Kong Bohua uses Shigao and Zhimu as the core drugs,mostly using Zhimu,Shigao,Lugen,Bohe,Jinyinhua,Jiangcan,Huangbai,Baimaogen,Lianzixin,Longdan,and combination of Shigao-Zhimu,Bohe-Baimaogen-Lugen are favored,which have the characteristics of dispelling cold and clearing theqi,and clearing the stagnated heat.Shi Jinmo uses Lianqiao as the core drug,mostly using Jiegeng,Xingren,Lianqiao,Xiebai,Zhiqiao,Baimaogen,Baiqian,Lugen,Ziwan,Peilan,and the combination of Jiegeng-Zhiqiao,Xiebai-Xingren,Baimaogen-Lugen,Lianqiao-Niubangzi are favored,which have the characteristics of harmonizing descending and ascending,clearing heat and nourishing yin.Wang Fengchun uses Lianqiao as the core drug,and mostly uses Lianqiao,Qianhu,Rendongteng,Zhebeimu,Chishao,Laifuzi,Zisuzi,Gualou,Zhiqiao,Pipaye,and the combination of Lianqiao-Bohe-Rendongteng,Laifuzi-Zisuzi-Qianhu,which have the characteristics of dispersing stagnation,clearing heat and smoothing Qi.Xiao Longyou,Kong Bohua,Shi Jinmo,and Wang Fengchun mainly prescribed medicinal with cold and neutral nature and bitter,spicy and sweet flavors,which enter the lung,stomach and liver meridians,in the treatment of warm disease of damp-heat class.The four natures,five flavors and meridian entry are basically the same.The use of single-flavored medicinal and the selection of commonly used medicinal combinations have their own characteristics.For the treatment of warm diseases of damp-heat class,Xiao Longyou uses Zhizi and Mudanpi as the core drug,and usually uses Gancao,Zhizi,Mudanpi,Fuling,Shenqu,Jineijin,Daoya,Sangzhi,Lugen,and Qinghao,amd combination of Zhimu-Zhuru,Zhimu-Huangbai and Xuanfuhua-Daizheshi are favored,which have the characteristics of dispelling cold,removing dampness and eliminating stagnation.Kong Bohua uses Zhimu as the core drugs,mostly using Zhimu,Zhuru,Lianzixin,Huangbai,Lugen,Xuanfuhua,Daizheshi,Heye,Shijueming and Bohe,and combination of Zhimu-Zhuru,Zhimu-Huangbai and Xuanfuhua-Daizheshi are favored,which have the characteristics of clearing heat,calming the liver,descending adverse-rising qi and resolving the dampness.Shi Jinmo uses Huangqin as the core drug,mostly using Huangqin,Fuling,Peilan,Baimaogen,Chishao,Huanglian,Tianhuafen,Shigao,Guya and Jiegeng,and the combination of Huangqin-Huanglian,Fuling-Baimaogen and Peilan-Chishao are favored,which have the characteristics of promoting the circulation of qi and depressing qi.Wang Fengchun uses Huanglian and Houpu as the core drug,and mostly uses Huanglian,Houpu,Zhizi,Baidoukou,Xingren,Fuling,Gualou,Zexie,Pipaye and Qianhu,and the combination of Huanglian-Houpu,Xingren-Baidoukou and Fuling-Zexie are favored,which have the characteristics of smoothing qi and regulating Sanjiao.
