Research And Experience Summary Of Professor Dong Mingguo’s Medication Rule In Treating Ulcerative Colitis Based On Data Mining

ObjectiveBased on the 30-year clinical practice of Professor Dong Mingguo,a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Guangdong Province,and with the help of data mining technology,this paper discusses and studies Professor Dong Mingguo’s clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ulcerative colitis,so as to inherit and carry forward the clinical experience of famous Chinese medicine practitioners.MethodsThe prescriptions prescribed by Professor Dong Mingguo in the outpatient department of Dongguan Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to March 2022 for ulcerative colitis were searched,and the screened medical records were screened in strict accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,and the screened medical records were pretreated to establish a database of clinical data of 234 medical records that met the standards.Using the methods of frequency analysis,association rule analysis,cluster analysis and factor analysis,the prescriptions that meet the inclusion criteria are systematically mined,and the mining results are analyzed and summarized in combination with Professor Dong Mingguo’s clinical experience.ResultA total of 234 prescriptions were screened,involving 178 traditional Chinese medicines.The drugs with high frequency were Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch,Paeonia lactiflora,Atractylodes macrocephala,Codonopsis pilosula,Poria,Radix Aucklandiae,etc.The main drugs were mild and warm,and the main drugs were sweet,bitter and pungent.Meridian tropism is mainly spleen meridian and stomach meridian,and the drug combination of drug pair and angle drug association rule is obtained,and five clustering formulas are obtained by systematic cluster analysis.ConclusionsBy using data mining technology,we can preliminarily reveal the prescription rule and academic thought of its clinical treatment of ulcerative colitis,that is,aiming at the idea of differentiation and treatment of ulcerative colitis,which is based on the deficiency of spleen and stomach,qi and blood,and applying the treatment method of "invigorating spleen,benefiting qi,eliminating dampness and promoting digestion" to treat both the symptoms and root causes.
