The medical service resources,service methods and relief objects in pastoral areas are concentrated in patients with severe,large and acute diseases,while the medical service level of chronic diseases is low and the herdsmen's awareness of prevention and treatment is weak.Chronic diseases cause a variety of social problems in pastoral areas,such as poverty caused by diseases,returning to poverty,aging,etc.It is noteworthy that the trend of chronic diseases is younger,and the number of patients under 40 years old continues to increase.Health management is an effective method for the treatment of chronic diseases and the prevention of complications.It is widely used in urban hospitals and communities to provide correct treatment for patients with chronic diseases and prevent the deterioration of their conditions.However,the health management level of chronic diseases in pastoral areas is low,the related policy efficiency is low,the medical resources are insufficient,the medical staff lacks of special education and training and other problems,so the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in pastoral areas cannot be effectively carried out.Due to the local characteristics,production mode,diet and living habits,as well as the lack of understanding of diseases,chronic diseases commonly existed in pastoral areas have seriously affected the physical and mental health and life of herdsmen.This study is based on the example of geriletuya village in siziwang banner,the author collected data,including the basic situation of pastoral areas and medical services,through interviews and participatory observation according to the methods of literature research and field research.To understand the health management service of chronic diseases and the medical service demand of herdsmen,to analyze the problems and causes of chronic diseases management in pastoral areas,and to discuss the importance and approach of social work in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
