| Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun is a series Journal of correspondence education of traditional Chinese medicine.It was first published in January 1982,bimonthly,and sponsored by the China Association of Chinese Medicine and specifically undertaken by the correspondence Department of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine.It was published for 19 years,and ended in December 2000.It was renamed the Journal of traditional Chinese medicine in January 2001.It has successively published 117 issues and Yang Liansheng is the chief editor.The research object is all 117 issues of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun,arrange and analyse the result from six parts: the birth background,development process,editors and contributors,layout,columns and historical contributions.The first part introduces the historical background of the birth of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun.Liaoning College of traditional Chinese medicine established correspondence department in 1960 and because of "amateur correspondence class of traditional Chinese medicine".Later,due to the Ten Year Calamity,the cause of traditional Chinese medicine suffered unprecedented catastrophe,and leading to the serious disruption of the education and training of traditional Chinese medicine talents,and the number of traditional Chinese medicine were personnel decreased.After 1980,the state actively developed the cause of TCM and vigorously trained TCM talents.In order to improve the quality of medical personnel in Liaoning Province,the main cities and counties have carried out the forms of general amateur education,night University and correspondence education,and the education of staff and workers.With the urgent need of people to learn the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine,Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun came into being.The second part introduces the development of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun.It was first published in January 1982.At this time,the theme of the magazine is correspondence education of traditional Chinese medicine as its characteristic.In 1984,to progress self-study examination of traditional Chinese medicine,Chinese government designated Beijing,Tianjin,Liaoning,Shanghai and Sichuan provinces(cities)as pilot areas for self-study examination of traditional Chinese medicine,and the main content of this magazine inclined to the guidance of self-study examination of TCM specialty,and focused on the guidance of each subject of self-study examination.In August 1989,the international standard serial number,was obtained by Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun.And by the time first half of 1990,it has been exported to Australia,Japan,Austria and other countries.At this time,the influence of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun has greatly increased.By the end of 1990,the number of provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government,which could hold the self-study examinations of TCM had been expanded to 24 provinces,and municipalities directly under the central government,and textbooks for self-study examination of traditional Chinese medicine will be uniformly distributed throughout the country.At this time,the self-study examination of traditional Chinese medicine had basically replaced the correspondence class of traditional Chinese medicine as the most important way to train and select talents of traditional Chinese medicine after undergraduate education.After 19 years of publish,has been published for 19 years,the issue quantity of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun is 117,more than 5000 articles were published,and the quantity of sled copies,both domestic and international,are more than 7 million with an average annual circulation of more than 368000 copies.In 2001,it was renamed as "Chinese Archives of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and began with a new journey.The third part introduces the editors,consultants and contributors(organizations)of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun magazine from three aspects.The chief editor o is Yang Liansheng,and the responsible editor is composed of Hao Minghui,Cui Yanghong,Wang Lanxiang,Li Xiangrong,Liu Shiyu and Zu Jingyi.The consultants are Fang Yaozhong,Shen Zhonggui,Li Yuqi,Lu Yuqi,Chen Yi,Meng Xianmin,Hu Bingwen,Ru Guxiang,Jiang Chunhua and Dong Jianhua.The main organizations of contributors are Liaoning College of traditional Chinese medicine,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning College of traditional Chinese medicine,Nanjing College of traditional Chinese medicine,Hubei College of traditional Chinese medicine,Henan College of traditional Chinese medicine,Hunan College of traditional Chinese medicine,Gansu College of traditional Chinese medicine,Beijing College of traditional Chinese medicine,Shandong College of traditional Chinese medicine and Liaoning Academy of traditional Chinese medicine.The main contributors are Liu Shuxin,Liu Fuwen,Guo Zhenqiu,Hu Bingwen,Li Xingyi,Li Dexin,fangyaozhong,Xu Jiasong,Wang Xuqian,song Jianping,Xue Fengkui and ye Jinxian.The fourth part mainly introduces the format of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun from the different styles of cover,inside front cove cover and catalogue in different periods.And The change of its cover is divided into six stages,each of which has a different layout style.The contents of the second cover were the contents of the periodical catalogue before 1984,and after 1984,they became the main contents of the display of calligraphy inscriptions of famous artists,the message of editors,the preface,the new year’s speech,domestic correspondence news,advertisements and obituaries.In 1982,the catalogue was divided into two parts,vertical printing and horizontal printing.It was printed on the second cover before 1984,and then on the front page.Since 1997,the English directory has been added.The fifth part introduces the contents of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun from seven parts: "Correspondence Education"," Traditional Chinese Medicine Garden","Examination Guidance","Clinical Experience","Clinical Application Of Prescriptions","Graduate Students" and "Liaoning Famous Doctors",and then counts the number of articles and introduces its characteristics of different stages."Correspondence Education" mainly refers to the guidance articles for the teaching of various subjects of traditional Chinese medicine.In 1982,it was called "guidance by correspondence university",and in 1983,it was renamed "guidance materials".In 1984,due to the pilot work of self-study examination of traditional Chinese medicine,it became a column named by discipline,and published more than 1800 special guidance articles."Traditional Chinese medicine garden" includes two columns of "traditional Chinese medicine garden" and "traditional Chinese medicine research".It specially discusses the function,property,processing,terminology,source and name of traditional Chinese medicine,and identification of traditional Chinese medicine.It has published more than 130 articles."Examination guidance" includes two columns: "examination garden" and "intensive compilation of test questions".Its content is mainly based on the self-study examination outline of various disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine,which publishes the self-study examination questions and standard answers of each province."Clinical Experience" includes many columns such as "clinical report","clinical experience","experience exchange","experience of famous doctors","unique of famous doctors","clinical treatment" and "clinical experience",with more than 720 articles werepublished."Clinical Application Of Prescriptions" includes three columns: "traditional Chinese medicine vertical and horizontal","traditional Chinese medicine current use" and "traditional Chinese medicine new use",with more than 90 articles published."Graduate Students" includes two columns: "postgraduate garden" and "Doctoral Forum".It was established in 1997 and published 46 articles."Liaoning Famous Doctors" recorded the life experience,academic thoughts and medical ethics of 23 famous doctors who once practiced in Liaoning,including Qingyun Pavilion,Zhang Xichun,Gao Yuming,Hu wankui,Ma Erqin,Shen Wenkui and sun Yunzhong.The sixth part summarizes and summarizes the historical contribution of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun to the correspondence and self-study examination of TCM in Northeast China and the whole country at that time.The main contents of Zhong Yi Han Shou Tong Xun is self-study examination and correspondence teaching,and it focused on the study and application of classic medical books.In the process of issuing,it keeps pace with the times and keeps innovating,with a wide range of influence and a large amount of circulation.It has participated in the development process of TCM correspondence and self-study examination of TCM Major in Liaoning Province,making the successful correspondence experience of various regions widely spread,and for a certain extent,it solved the contradiction between the demand and supply of self-study examination guidance materials,and made an important contribution to improving the quality of
