Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction in treatment of children with tic disorder,and to explore the treatment idea of "reconciling Shaoyang cardinal" in the treatment of tic disorder,so as to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.Materials and methods:From November 2017 to November 2019,52 children diagnosed as "tic disorder" were selected from the pediatric outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine.There were 28 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine group and 24 cases in the western medicine group.There were 28 cases in the traditional Chinese medicine group and 24 cases in the western medicine group.The traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction,while the western medicine group was treated with Thailapride tablet,4 weeks as a course of treatment.Before and after treatment,"Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS)" and "tic disorder TCM syndrome classification scale" were used to record the clinical symptoms of children in the form of integral.Analysis and comparison of the two groups of children before and after treatment,the improvement of each twitch integral,the total effective rate of disease,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome,the improvement of tic symptoms,the incidence of adverse reactions,and evaluation of their clinical efficacy.Results:1.Before and after treatment,there were significant differences in motor twitch score,vocal twitch score and YGTSS total score between Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P < 0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference in YGTSS total score,motor tic score and vocal tic score(P < 0.05).2.After treatment,compared with the western medicine group,the Chinese medicine group has a significant effect in improving the main symptoms,secondary symptoms and the total score of syndrome(P < 0.05),especially in improving the eye,nose twitch and single syndrome of secondary symptoms(P < 0.05).3.After treatment,the total effective rate of the Chinese medicine group was 85.71%,the total effective rate of the western medicine group was 87.50%,there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);in improving the syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine,the total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was96.43%,the total effective rate of the western medicine group was 87.50%,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.After treatment,the curative effect of TTD group was better than that of traditional Chinese medicine group,while CTD group and TS group were better than that of Western medicine group,but the difference was not significant(P > 0.05).5.There were no adverse reactions in the traditional Chinese medicine group,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the western medicine group was 8.33%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).6.After long-term follow-up,the recurrence rate of traditional Chinese medicine group was lower than that of Western medicine group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction can effectively improve children's tic symptoms compared with Tiapride,and the clinical effect is similar.2.Compared with the western medicine Tiapride,Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction has more significant effect in improving the TCM syndromes.3.Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction has better efficacy and safety in the treatment of tic disorders in children.4.To discuss and treat the disease from "reconciling Shaoyang cardinal",so as to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of tic disorders of children.
