| Objective: To observe the effect of scalp acupuncture combining with electromyography biofeedback on the upper limb dysfunction of patients with post-stroke.Methods: 91 patients with post-stroke upper limb dysfunction were randomly divided into three groups: scalp acupuncture group and scalp acupuncture combined with electromyography biofeedback group(30 cases in each group),31 cases in electromyography biofeedback group. The scalp acupunctureunites unites with electromyography biofeedback group was given scalp needle combining with electromyography biofeedback treatment. The scalp acupuncture group was given scalp acupuncture. The electromyography biofeedback group was given electromyography biofeedback therapy.conventional treatment in each group. The three groups were treated once a day,5 times a week,10 times as a course of treatment.FMA,MAS,EMG and MBI were evaluated before treatment for the 10 times and after treatment. To observe the improvement of upper limb dysfunction impairment and compared for 3 groups in before, middle and after treatment. Results: After treatment, scores of FMA,MAS,EMG and MBI on scalp acupuncture combining with electromyography biofeedback group were improved(P<0.01).Scores of MAS and MBI on scalp acupuncture group and electromyography biofeedback group were improved(P<0.05),FMA and EMG were improved(P<0.01).electromyography biofeedback group had significantly higher scores of FMA than scalp acupuncture group(P<0.05),scores of MAS,EMG and MBI with no difference(P>0.05).Indicators in scalp acupuncture combining with electromyography biofeedback group have been improved more significantly than scalp acupuncture group with statistical significance of MAS(P<0.05),FMA,EMG and MBI(P<0.01).Indicators in scalp acupuncture combining with electromyography biofeedback group have been improved more significantly than electromyography biofeedback group with statistical significance of FMA and MAS(P<0.05),and EMG and MBI(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Electromyography biofeedback therapy and scalp acupuncture therapy can improve the upper limb function of patients with post-stroke upper limb dysfunction, improve fine motor and improve the ability of patients to take care of themselves;(2)Both scalp acupuncture combined with electromyography biofeedback and individual scalp acupuncture or electromyography biofeedback therapy can effectively improve upper limb function after stroke, but the effect of scalp acupuncture combined with electromyography biofeedback is better than that of single use of electromyography biofeedback or scalp acupuncture in improving upper limb function;(3)Results of the three groups at different stages of treatment suggested that the longer the course of treatment, the better the treatment effect;(4)Scalp acupuncture combined with electromyography biofeedback is effective in the treatment of post stroke upper limb dysfunction, with simple and safe clinical operation and few side effects, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
