A Data Mining Study On The Experience Of Professor Pan Minqiu, A Well-known Chinese Medicine Doctor, In Treating Esophageal Cancer

Objective: To summarize the clinical diagnosis and treatment experience and academic thought of Professor Pan Minqiu,a national famous old TCM by using the intelligent diagnosis and Treatment System of Traditional Chinese Medicine,in order to effectively summarize and inherit the experience of famous doctors.Methods: According to the screening of diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,To collect and sort out the outpatient medical records of professor Pan Minqiu's treated esophageal cancer,And in the form of "esophageal cancer medical record information collection form",The symptoms and traditional Chinese medicine of the original data were standardized.Build EXCEL database,Input the standardized medical record information into the data collection system of the TCM inheritance auxiliary platform system(V2.5).A variety of data analysis techniques such as frequency statistics,cluster analysis,and drug association rule method were used to study and analyze medical records.With general information,drugs,syndrome types and complications as the basic clues,Complete data mining and extract the essence.Results:A total of 102 cases of esophageal cancer diagnosed and treated by professor Pan Minqiu were screened in this study.A total of 220 TCM prescriptions were collected.Involving 130 traditional Chinese medicines,the statistical analysis shows that:1.The top ten most frequently used drugs were Licorice,Astragalus,Atractylodes,Hedyotis Herbs,Poria cocos,Tangerine peel,Ganoderma lucidum,Ligustrum lucidum,Chinese wolfberry,and Malt.2.The highest frequency of use of all drugs to remedy deficiency and antipyretic,Especially the type of gas and heat clearing detoxification;The medicine is slightly cold,The three main flavors of medicine are sweet,bitter and spicy.The main meridian is liver,spleen,kidney and stomach.3.Commonly used five drug combinations:(1)Astragalus,Atractylodes;(2)Hedyotis Herbs,Astragalus;(3)Atractylodes atractylodes,Tuckahoe;(4)Hedyotis Herbs,Atractylodes;(5)Tangerine peel,Tuckahoe.4.Commonly used five core combinations:(1)poria cocos,Ganoderma lucidum with atractylodes;(2)Ginseng,astragalus with atractylodes;(3)Coptis coptidis with evodia;(4)Platycodon grandiflorum with magnolia officinalis;(5)Dodder,Chinese wolfberry with ligustri son.5.The core prescriptions are:Licorice,Astragalus,Ginseng,Atractylodes macrocephala,Chinese wolfberry,Dodder,Hedyotis herbs,Dried tangerine peel,Ganoderma lucidum,Sculellaria barbata,Curcuma,Salvia chinensis,Pinellia,Rice bud,Malt,Poria cocos,Chicken gallbladder,Prunella vulgaris.6.Six groups of new prescriptions were extracted,which were:(1)Curcuma zedoary,Fritillaria thunbergii,Bombyx Batryticatus,scorpion,Scutellaria barbata and Prunella vulgaris;(2)Peach kernel,safflower,angelica,Raw Rehmannia;(3)Poria cocos,Amomum villosum,Yujin and pinellia tuber;(4)Wild chrysanthemum,North ginseng,Ophiopogon japonicus,Dendrobium,Rhododendron;(5)Dried tangerine peel,Ginseng,Astragalus membranaceus,Mulberry white peel,tuckahoe peel and big belly peel;(6)Holothurian,Dendrobium,Ophiopogon japonicus,Atractylodes,American ginseng.7.A total of 7 syndromes were counted for the treatment of esophageal cancer by professor Pan Minqiu,among which the common main syndromes were 4: deficiency of spleen and kidney,mutual obstruction of spittoon gas,heat toxicity of Yin deficiency,blood stasis and phlegm stagnation.Four kinds of syndrome common drugs and core prescription were obtained.8.A total of 16 complications related to esophageal cancer were counted.The key drugs for the first four common complications of esophageal cancer treated by professor Pan Minqiu were obtained respectively.Conclusion: By analyzing and discussing the data mining results,The main academic thoughts of Pan Lao in the treatment of esophageal cancer are summarized as follows;(1)clear observation of the pathogenesis,strengthening the deficiency;(2)Dialectical treatment,symptomatic medication;(3)smooth air,smooth esophagus;(4)Remove phlegm and remove blood stasis,make the finishing touch;(5)Will kill the enemy,dispel the evil against cancer;(6)With insect medicine,loose the root of the disease.
