Purpose:1.The scale of nurses' diabetes health literacy in China was developed and its reliability and validity were tested.2.To provide assessment tools for the evaluation of nurses' diabetes health literacy level, and lay a foundation for the related research of nurses' diabetes health literacy.Method:1.In this study,Nutbeam health literacy theory was used as the scale framework, and the initial scale of nurses' diabetes health literacy was formed through literature analysis and semi-structured interview.2.After two rounds of expert consultation, the initial scale was modified according to the expert feedback to form the pre-test scale of nurses' diabetes health literacy.3.The pre-test scale was applied to investigate the nurses in four hospitals in shenyang. The items were screened by project analysis, and the reliability and validity of the pre-test scale were tested to form the formal scale of nurses' diabetes health literacy.Results:1.Through semi-structured interviews and literature analysis, the initial scale of diabetes health literacy of nurses was formed, with a total of 30 items, involving three dimensions: functional health literacy, interactive health literacy and critical health literacy,Knowledge and skills, patient disease information, health education, communication strategies, information reliability and accuracy, information applicability, attitude and cognition 7 sub-dimensions.2.The positive coefficient of the two rounds of expert consultation was 100%,the authority coefficient was 0.825,0.871,and the Kendall's coefficient of concordance was0.383,0.415,respectively,and the variation coefficients were between 0.084 ~ 0.365 and 0.000 ~ 0.272,respectively.According to the expert's opinions, the pre-test scale of nurses' diabetes health literacy was formed, including 3 dimensions,6 sub-dimensions and 28 items.3.The critical ratio of 28 items in the pre-test scale were all greater than 3.000,the correlation coefficient was greater than 0.400,the commonality was greater than 0.200,and the factor load was greater than 0.450.The overall content validity index of the scale was 0.988,and the content validity index of each item was between 0.833 and 1.000.The KMO value and chi-square value in the total scale were 0.911(P<0.050)and3356.625(P = 0.000),respectively,6 factors were extracted, and the cumulative explanatory variance was 65.309%.Cronbach's alpha of the total scale and each dimension were 0.939,0.893,0.884 and 0.838,respectively.The sub-reliability coefficients were 0.954,0.887,0.924 and 0.895,respectively.The retest reliability coefficients were 0.893,0.821,0.839 and 0.856,respectively.The reliability and validity results of the scale were good. After project analysis and reliability and validity test, the formal scale of diabetes health literacy of nurses was formed, including 3 dimensions,6sub-dimensions and 28 items.Conclusion:1.This study is based on the nurse's health literacy operation definition, which is based on the nutbeam health literacy theory, and completed the nurse's diabetes health literacy scale, with a total of 28 items, involving three dimensions: functional health literacy, interactive health literacy and critical health literacy,Knowledge and skills, patient disease information, health education, communication strategies, information accuracy and applicability, attitude and cognition 6 sub-dimensions.2.Through expert consultation, project analysis and letter validity test, the letter validity of the nurse's diabetes health literacy scale is good, which is used to evaluate the nurse's level of diabetic health literacy, which can help to develop effective intervention strategies to improve the nurse's diabetes health literacy, and to play a positive role in the health education of diabetic patients.
