| Purpose:To observe the efficacy of Qinghao Biejia decoction in the treatment of postoperative yin deficiency and fever in elderly patients with hip fracture.Material and method:From July 2017 to October 2018,patients with hip fractures in the Department 1 of Orthopaedics,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,43 patients with postoperative fever who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into Chinese medicine group and the control group.The two groups of patients were routinely given antibiotic infusion after operation.On the third day after operation,the Chinese medicine group was given physical cooling with Qinghao Biejia decoction and the control group was given physical cooling.The changes of body temperature between the two groups were observed within 5 days,and the clinical syndromes scores,C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,antibiotic use time and other indicators were combined to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results:1.Both groups could treat yin deficiency and fever after senile hip fracture,but the Chinese medicine group used Qinghao Biejia decoction to reduce fever and treat it more quickly and stably,which was obviously better than the control group.2.Both of the two treatment methods could improve the postoperative fever symptoms,and the total effective rate of Chinese medicine group was superior to that of control group.3.The decrease of CRP and PCT in the Chinese medicine group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the Chinese medicine group significantly shortened the antibiotic application time of the postoperative patients.Conclusion: The fever due to Yin deficiency occurs among elderly patients after operation of hip fracture can be effectively treated with Qinghao Biejia decoction which can obviously improve the decrease of CRP and PCT after operation.It shortens the application time of antibiotics after surgery. |
