Clinical Study On Acupuncture Combined With Diazepam In The Treatment Of Insomnia With Deficiency Of Both Heart And Spleen

Purpose:This study aims to conclude a better means of treatment on the insomnia of type of deficiency of both the heart and spleen under the guidance of TCM theory,based on the assessment and comparison between two different treatment,Diazepam treatment and combination acupuncture with Diazepam treatment,from the indicators of clinical efficiency ratio,general TCM syndrome score,PSQI score,so that it will provide scientific basis for the treatment of insomnia of type of deficiency of both the heart and spleen type.Material and method:According to the guidance of DR.Zhang,we select 70 cases that met the diagnostic criteria of the insomnia of type of deficiency of both the heart and spleen pattern and divide them into 2 groups(35 cases each)by the method of random seal.Both groups were treated with Diazepam treatment once a day for 2weeks.On the basis of diazepam treatment,the treatment group was treated with acupuncture(acupoint selection:(acupuncture point:ST36,RN12,SP6,RN4,RN6),reinforcing manipulation by lifting and thrusting.The patients of this group were treated 5 times a week for 2 consecutive weeks.Observation:Clinical efficiency ratio,general TCM syndrome score,PSQI score were observed,measured,and the compared after and before treatment in 2 groups.The date were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 software.Results:1.Before and after treatment,the total score and clinical manifestations of PSQI scale in the two groups were significantly improved,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that both groups have curative effect.2.The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.3.Before and after treatment,the scores of each subitem of PSQI scale in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group in terms of sleep quality and daytime dysfunction,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Before and after treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group in terms of less food,fatigue and abdominal distension after eating or afternoon,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).5.In the occurrence of diazepam adverse events,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with diazepam therapy is superior to diazepam therapy in improving sleep quality and daytime dysfunction in the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of temper.2.Acupuncture combined with diazepam therapy is superior to diazepam in the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of temper,which is superior to diazepam in improving the patients' lack of food,fatigue and abdominal distension after eating or afternoon.3.Acupuncture combined with diazepam is superior to diazepam in reducing adverse events of diazepam.
