Purpose:To observe the clinical therapeutic effects of acupuncture with Dihuangyinzi in treatment of aphasia after stroke(deficiency of yin).Information and Methods:All the 48 patients in this study were from the neurology ward of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital.The 48 patients were divided into the treatment group of 24 patients and the control group of 24 patients.All the patients were given basic treatments.Patients in control group were treated by acupuncture and Language rehabilitation treatment.The treatment group increased Dihuangyinzi on the basic of the control group.The course of this study was 4 weeks.Observe reading and other language features(oral expression,ability to write,hearing and speech understanding,reading ability),degree of neurological deficit,daily life activity ability and TCM common symptom of the two groups.Discuss the difference of the two groups and using the SPSS 15.0 to analysis the data.Results: 1.The sexuality,age,duration of disease,stroke classification,degree of neurological deficit daily life skills and TCM syndrome of the patients of the two groups before the treatment,there was no significant differences(P>0.05),and nobody was dropped during the study.2.In the language function assessment,and oral expression,ability to write,hearing and speech understanding,reading ability,after the treatment,the treatment group and control group both have significant improvements(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups(P<0.05),statistically significant.3.In the degree of neurological deficit,after the treatment,the treatment group and control group both have significant improvements(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups(P<0.05),statistically significant.4.In daily life skills assessment,after the treatment,the treatment group and control group both have significant improvements(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups(P<0.05),statistically significant.6.In the overall evaluation,3 were cured completely,9 were improved effiency,10 were improved,2 were improved not obviously in the observation group.The effective rate was 91.60%.1 were cured completely,5 were improved effiency,12 were improved,6 were improved not obviously in the control group.The effective rate was 75%.9.In the influence on TCM common symptom,in the Eye slant,feeling dizzy,Dry pharynx,the two groups before and after treatment,there were significant differences(P<0.05).and there were significant differences(P<0.05)between the two groups.in the hemiplegia,heatness in hands and feet,the two groups before and after treatment,there were significant differences(P<0.05).and there were not significant differences(P<0.05)between the two groups.Were not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture with Dihuangyinzi have effects on treating aphasia after stroke(deficiency of yin)in the overall score of the language features.Including oral expression,ability to write,hearing and speech understanding,reading ability.2.Acupuncture with Dihuangyinzi can effect Efficiently in the TCM common symptom of aphasia after stroke(deficiency of yin)patients in Eye slant,feeling dizzy,Dry pharynx.and can also effect in hemiplegia,heatness in hands and feet.
