Observation On The Clinical Efficacy Of The Method Of Replenishing Qi, Dissolving Phlegm And Promoting Blood Circulation In The Treatment Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

Purpose:To objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of Qi-invigorating phlegm and Blood-Activating Therapy for Hashimoto's thyroiditis of spleen deficiency and phlegm-stasis type,and to provide a new way of thinking for clinical diagnosis and treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis with traditional Chinese medicine.Material and method:According to the principle of randomized control,64 patients with HT were divided into treatment group(32cases)and control group(32cases).The control group was given a low-iodine diet,modest work and rest,diminished emotional,adequate sleep and other lifestyle interventions,and the treatment group was given an oral administration of Yiqi Huayu Huoxue Decoction for 3 months.The parameters of TCM syndrome score,thyroid function,thyroid autoantibody titer(TPOAb,Tg Ab)and goiter were evaluated before and after observation.The data were statistically processed by SPSS 24.0statistical software,and the therapeutic effect was analyzed and compared.Results:A total of 64 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis were enrolled in the study.During the observation period,1 patient in the treatment group and 2 patients in the control group were absent.A total of 61 patients completed the study,and the shedding rate was 4.9%.There was no significant difference in sex,age,thyroid function and antibody between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the results were as follows:1.The scores of TCM symptoms in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01),and the improvement of symptoms was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.Thyroid function:Regardless of patients with normal or elevated serum TSH level,Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Decoction can significantly reduce TSH level,and the curative effect is better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Thyroid autoantibody titers:The levels of Tg Ab and TPOAb in the treatment group were lower than those in the previous group,with statistical significance(P<0.05),while the levels of Tg Ab and TPOAb in the control group had no statistical difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in Tg Ab level between the two groups(P>0.05).TPOAb level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Relevant parameters of goiter:The anterior and posterior diameter,left and right diameter and isthmus thickness of the left and right lobes of the thyroid in the treatment group were smaller than those in the former(P<0.05),and there was no significant change in the control group(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the anterior and posterior diameters of right lobe,left anterior and posterior diameters,isthmus thickness and reduction range in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Hua Tanhuoxue Method has significant effect in improving clinical symptoms,reducing thyroid autoantibody level and improving thyroid function of HT patients.It is an effective method for treating HT of spleen deficiency and phlegm stasis type.
