Clinical Study On Application Of Yiqi-Huoxue-Huatan Tang For Treatment On Cerebral Ischaemic Stroke

Objective: By observing Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang's clinical Application for treatment on the Cerebral Ischaemic Stroke (CIS), we verified the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang in clinical and explored its mechanism of treatment on CIS, furthermore,the evidence for clinical popularization of the therapy can be provided.Methods: According to diagnosis standards in the study,59 patients were randomly classified into two groups: the comparison group with 28 cases were given medicine to treat regularly, the therapy group with 31 cases were given Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang besides the medicine as the comparison group. A period of treatment contains seven days, then three courses in three weeks. The nerve function's deficiency and the clinic grade of stroke were evaluated, then the changes in hemorheology and the level of Malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were compared respectively before treatment and post-treatment between two groups.Results: Firstly, on the clinical effect, the total effective rate of the therapy group treated with the Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang, which was 90.32%, exceeded obviously that of the comparison group in normal method, which was 78.57%. On the Chinese traditional medicine symptom of CIS, the total effective rate of the Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang was 90.33%. which was highly prior to that of the comparison group (82.14%) , and the difference index was (P<0.05) in statistics. The difference was remarkable (P<0.05). and there was extreme difference in decreases of the clinical scores of the therapy group and each symptom in contrast with that of the comparison group (P<0.01) after treatment, so as to each item of nerve function deficiency (P<0.01). The difference was remarkable in .the scores of nerve function deficiency (P<0.05).Secondly, to the observing indexes, there was remarkable decrease of the level of low shear viscomet, high shear viscomet, plasma viscosity, packed cell volume, fibrinogen, MDA of the therapy group in contrast with that of the comparison group (P<0.05) after treatment. And the level of SOD in the therapy group obviously ascended with the comparison group.Conclusion: Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tang's clinical effect in the treatment of the Cerebral Ischemic Stroke (CIS) is remarkable as well as safe.
