Purpose:Acne remains of erythema and hyperpigmentation is the beauty of the hearts of women troubled by the current clinical research on the treatment of erythema and pigmentation after acne numerous,but relatively confusing,the lack of systematic summary.Through the review and appraisal of the published papers both at home and abroad in the recent 20 years,the effectiveness of the randomized controlled trial(RCT)of acne erythema and pigmentation using Chinese medicine alone was systematically evaluated by Meta-analysis.Provide evidence-based evidence for TCM treatment of acne erythema and pigmentation effectiveness.Material and method:In accordance with the designated search strategy,included and excluded the standard in the database of literature and screening,and quality evaluation,extraction of relevant data,Meta-analysis.Key search and treatment methods include:Traditional Chinese medicine water,traditional Chinese medicine mask,acupuncture,bleeding,moxa-wool moxibustion,cupping,fumigation of traditional Chinese medicine.The experimental group using oral or external use of traditional Chinese medicine or traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The control group was blank control,placebo control,basic support and treatment control.The database includes:PubMed medical literature retrieval service system,CNKI,Wanfang digital periodical full-text database,Sino Med and VIP database,combined with manual retrieval of library collections Literature,as well as various conference papers for literature search.The time period for literature search was from July1995 to March 2017,and all randomized controlled trials on TCM treatment of acne erythema and pigmentation were performed.Results:1.The final 11 included in the meta-analysis of the literature,all of the total number of cases included in the 888 cases,including 450 Chinese medicine treatment group and other treatment group of 438 patients.Meta-analysis showed that in the patients with acne erythema and pigmentation,the regression rate of skin lesions of erythema and pigmentation after using acupuncture was higher than that of the control group RR=1.34,95%CI=(1.14~1.59),I~2=88%,P<0.00001,the difference was statistically significant.In the study,there are 6 articles which are treated by external application of Chinese herbal mask,RR=1.91,95%CI=(1.28,2.84),I~2=87%,P<0.00001;Traditional Chinese medicine therapy was used to treat the patients.Meta analysis showed that the regression rate of lesions treated with traditional Chinese medicine therapy was higher than that of the control group RR=1.11,95%CI=(1.05,1.19),P=0.44,I~2=0%,P<0.00001,the difference was statistically significant.Chinese medicine treatment of acne erythema and pigmentation significant effect,Chinese medicine intervention did not appear adverse reactions reported,safe and reliable.Conclusion:1.Chinese medicine treatment of acne erythema and pigmentation have a significant effect..2.Chinese medicine treatment of acne erythema and pigmentation safety is high,less adverse reactions.
