Clinical Observation Of Qiangshenfengshi Tonic Ointment In Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qiang Shen Feng Shi Bu Yi Ointment in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis caused by liver-kidney yin deficiency.Method:Sixty patients with rheumatoid arthritis of liver-kidney yin deficiency type were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group consisted of 30 patients.The patients were treated with Qiangshenfengshibuiyi ointment and methotrexate.The control group consisted of 30 patients.Methotrexate treatment,medication courses are one month.Observe the clinical symptoms,physical signs,joint swelling,joint tenderness,morning stiffness,VAS score,HAQ scale score,TCM syndrome score,and laboratory indicators before and after treatment in both groups,such as: rheumatoid factor,ESR,C-Reactive protein,etc.Observe possible side effects or adverse events duringtreatment.Results:1.Comparison of the main clinical symptoms: After treatment,both groups had significant improvement in the number of joint tenderness,joint swelling,TCM syndrome score,VAS score and HAQ scale score before treatment(P<0.05);In the control group(P<0.05).Both groups had significant improvement in morning stiffness time before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups in the degree of improvement(P>0.05).2.In terms of improving laboratory indicators: RF,ESR,and CRP levels were significantly improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).3.In the efficacy evaluation of TCM: The total effective rates of the two groups were 90% and 65.5% respectively,that is,the total effective rate of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group.4.Adverse reactions: No serious adverse reactions occurred in both groups before and after treatment.Conclusion:The combination of Qiangshenfengshibuyi ointment combined with methotrexate with traditional Chinese and Western medicine combined with methotrexate can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of rheumatoid arthritis with less adverse reactions and high safety.
