The Effectness Of Du-huo-ji-sheng-Decoction Cure The Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency

ObservationTo observe the effectness of themodified Du-huo-ji-sheng-Decoction in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The syndrome o fintermingled heat and cold combined with the syndrome of intermingled phlegmand blood stasis. To evaluate the eliniealeffieacy and safety of the decoetion with the comparison between the treatment group and the control groul.MethodBased on the elinieal test principles,60cases of RA patients are partieiPated in the study. All of them meet the requirements of RA diagnosis and belong to Liver and kidney deficiency type of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). Participants are divided into two groups randomly,30in the treatment group which methotrexate10mg, po, qw+celebrex0.2g, po, qd+themodified Du-huo-ji-sheng-Decoetion are give, and20in the control group which methotrexate10mg, po, qw+celebrex0.2g, po, qd, are given. The length of the treatment plan for both groups is8week. The total effcetive rates of the treatment group and the control group are93.6%and74.5%, respeetively, which has signifle ant difference between two groups. All of the groups are signifieantly improved after treatment. The symptoms of the treatment group are much better improved than those of the controlgroup. Those laboratory indexes of both groups significantly become better after treatment, and there has significantDifference between two groups.For both groups, no serious adverse effects are found.ConclusionThe treatment group has greater results than the control group in general. It means the combination of the modified Du-huo-ji-sheng-Decoetion and the Western medicine have better clinieal efficacy and safety in treating RA with Liver and kidney deficiency type than simply using Westen medieine.
