ObjectivesBy comparing the physical characteristics of type 2 diabetes mellitus between Han and Yi nationalities,the differences of physical characteristics between Han and Yi nationalities were discussed,and the physical characteristics of type 2 diabetes mellitus were excavated.Methods1.The basic data of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and non-type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Changhu Town,Guishan Town,Xijiekou Town and Shilin Town of Shilin Yi Autonomous Region of Yunnan Province were investigated by questionnaires,and the physical characteristics of head,facial features and limbs were tested and measured.2.SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis.Independent sample t test was used for the measurement data;frequency statistical percentage and chi-square test were used for the counting data;Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was used for reliability analysis of the questionnaire;KMO and Bartlett spherical degree test were used for validity analysis of the questionnaire;multiple logistic regression was used to analyze the difference of physical characteristics between Han and Yi patients with type 2 diabetes and the correlation between them.Results1?Reliability and validity analysis The Alpha coefficient of clonal Bach based on standardization item was 0.693,and the KMO value was 0.781,which passed the Bartlett spherical test.(P<0.05)2?Basic data analysis The total number of respondents was 319,128 males and 191 females;189 Han and 130 Yi;the oldest was 97 years old and the youngest was 23 years old.There were 139 patients in the diabetic group,61 males and 78 females;74 Han and 65 Yi;the oldest was 80 years old and the youngest was 40 years old.There were 180 non-diabetic patients,67 males and 113 females,115 Han and 65 Yi.3?Comparison of General Physical Signs between Han and Yi Nationalities In type 2 diabetes mellitus group,there were significant differences in gender between Han and Yi subjects(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in age,BMI index,height,weight,waist circumference,hip circumference,upper arm circumference,abdominal circumference,thigh circumference,calf circumference,abdominal-hip ratio and upper arm-abdominal circumference ratio.In the non-type 2 diabetes group,there were significant differences in abdominal circumference and abdominal-hip ratio between Han and Yi nationalities(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in gender,age,BMI index,height,weight,waist circumference,hip circumference,upper arm circumference,thigh circumference,calf circumference and upper arm-abdominal circumference ratio.4.?Comparison of Five Facial Features and External Morphology of Limbs between Han and Yi Nationalities In type 2 diabetes group,there were significant differences in lip color,lip texture,ear texture,ear texture,ear texture,ear height,ear brittleness,thenar color,thenar muscle condition,waist muscle condition and zygoma size between Han and Yi nationalities(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance.In non-type 2 diabetes mellitus group,there were significant differences in lip color,lip texture,lip brittleness,ear texture,ear deflection,hypothenar color and hypothenar texture between Han and Yi nationalities(P<0.05),and in lip height,lip deflection,ear color,ear height,ear brittleness,hypothenar muscle condition,waist muscle condition and zygoma size(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups.5?Comparison between type 2 diabetes mellitus and non-type 2 diabetes mellitus In general data,there were significant differences in age,BMI index,body weight,waist circumference,abdominal circumference,abdomen-hip ratio between non-diabetic group and diabetic group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in gender,nationality,height,hip circumference,upper arm circumference,thigh circumference,calf circumference,abdomen-hip ratio between non-diabetic group and diabetic group.There were no significant differences in lip texture,lip height,lip brittleness,ear striation.There was no significant difference in lip color,lip correction,ear color,ear correction,hypothenar color,hypothenar texture,waist muscle condition and zygoma size(P<0.05).In type 2 diabetes mellitus,the lip is protruded and valgus,the lip is large and loose,the ear texture is loose,thin and not firm.The longer the course of type 2 diabetes mellitus,the higher the probability of one side of the ear on the high side;the older the age,the greater the probability of lip relaxation and one side on the high side.6?Study on related factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus Taking the normal ear as a reference,compared with people over 70 years old,people under 50 years old have 7.189 times the probability of having strong ears and 4.128 times the probability of people between 51 and 69 years old.The probability of thin and unstable ears was 0.181 for people aged less than 50 and 1.117 for people aged less than 5 years and over 10 years.With normal ears as a reference,compared with Yi people,the probability of ear symmetry and forward proximity is 3.582 in Han people,and 0.173 in people aged 50 and under compared with people aged 70 and over.Among those with high ears on one side,the probability of high ears on the other side was 0.891 for those with 5 years or less,and 0.479 for those with 6-9 years.According to the normal condition of thenar muscles,the probability of fullness of thenar muscles was 20.514 for people aged 50 and under,and 9.249 for people aged 51-69.Taking the normal height of lips as a reference,the probability of lip lifting and valgus in Han population was 5.584 compared with that in Yi population,and the probability of lip lifting and valgus in people with 5 years or less was 4.400 compared with those with 6-9 years.Among the people with drooping lips,the probability of drooping lips in Han population was 3.228 compared with that in Yi population;the probability of drooping lips in people aged 50 and below was 0.019 compared with people over 70 years old;and the probability of drooping lips in people with 5 years or less was 4.440 compared with people with 10 years or more.For the people with large and flabby lips,the probability of large and flabby lips in Han population is 3.499,0.036 and 0.118 in those aged 50 and below,and 10 years and 10 years in those aged 51-69.The probability of large and flabby lips was 4.321 compared with those of the above-mentioned people.With normal lip as a reference,the probability of upper and lower lip symmetry of Han people was 2.854 compared with Yi people;the probability of upper and lower lip symmetry of people aged 50 and under was 0.223 compared with people aged 70 and over;and the probability of upper and lower lip symmetry was 0.223 compared with people with 10 years or more.The probability of weighing is 3.621.Among the people with high lip,the probability of high lip was 0.081 for those aged 50 and under,and 0.129 for those aged 51-69,compared with those aged 70 and over.Conclusion1.The body weight,waist circumference,abdominal circumference and BMI index of type 2 diabetes mellitus were higher than those of non-type 2 diabetes mellitus.2.The constitution of type 2 diabetes mellitus is characterized by large and loose lips and thin and unstable ears.Among the non-type 2 diabetic population,the Yi nationality mostly presents the characteristics of "spleen firmness" and "small kidney" with firm lip and dense ear texture.
