Purpose:To observe the effects of moxibustion,Zhongyuan,Guanyuan,Zusanli,Pishu and Weishu on the general symptoms,tumor volume inhibition rate and nutrient metabolism of tumor-bearing gastric cancer rats,to explore the therapeutic effect and possible mechanism of moxibustion on gastric cancer,and provide experimental basis for acupuncture treatment of tumor.Methods:Forty-three male healthy SD rats were selected,and 10 randomly selected were divided into blank groups.Ten randomly selected sham-operated groups were used to simulate the tumor transplantation process.The remaining 23 models of gastric cancer were prepared by transplantation of tumor tissue from Walker-256 cells.After 7 days of modeling,3 laparotomy patients were randomly selected to verify the successful transplantation of gastric cancer model.The remaining 20 were randomly divided into model group and moxibustion group,with 10 in each group.After successful model,each group was intervened for 14 days by the corresponding method,and the general symptom score of the rats was recorded.After the intervention,the rats in each group were collected from the eyeballs,and the in situ tumors were taken from the stomach.The tumor mass was weighed,the tumor volume was measured,and the tumor volume inhibition rate was calculated,peripheral blood glucose(GLU)level was determined by hexokinase method,and peripheral serum was determined by colorimetry.Triglyceride(TG),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB)levels.Result:1.General symptom score: Compared with the model before the model,the general symptom scores of the sham operation group,the model group and the moxibustion group were significantly increased after modeling,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After interven-tion,compared with the model,the general symptom scores of the model group and the moxibustion group were significantly increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:Compared with the blank group,the general symptom scores of the sham operation group,the model group and the moxibustion group increased after modeling and after intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Compared with the sham operation group,the general symptom scores of the model group and the moxibustion group increased after modeling and after intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the general symptom scores of the rats in the moxibustion group decreased after the intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).2.Tumor growth inhibition rate:The tumor weight of the model group was 916.3±583.4mg,and the tumor volume was 622.77±286.91mm3;the tumor weight of the moxibustion group was 239.7±128.1 mg,and the tumor volume was 281.63±99.99 mm3.Compared with the model group,the tumor weight and tumor volume of the moxibustion group decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);After calculation,the tumor growth inhibition rate of the moxibustion group was 54.78%.3.Nutritional metabolism:compared with the blank group and the sham operation group,the GLU level in the peripheral blood of the model group was significantly decreased(P<0.05);compared with the model group,the serum GLU level in the moxibustion group was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,there was no statistically significant difference in serum TG and TP in the moxibustion group(P>0.05).compared with the blank group,the ALB levels in the peripheral blood of the model group and the moxibustion group decreased significantly(P<0.05);Compared with the sham operation group,the ALB levels in the peripheral blood of the model group and the moxibustion group decreased significantly(P<0.05);Compared with the model group,the serum ALB levels in the peripheral blood of the moxibustion group increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Moxibustion can improve the general symptoms and survival status of tumor-bearing gastric cancer rats.2.Moxibustion can inhibit the growth of gastric tumor volume in tumor-bearing rats.3.Moxibustion can correct the nutritional and metabolic disorders of the tumor-bearing gastric cancer rats,improve the internal environment of the body,improve the quality of life of rats.
