ObjectivePost-infectious Cough(PIC)is a common respiratory system disease. In recent years, its increased morbidities have an impact on people's daily life.At present,a large number of studies have shown the advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in the treatment of Post-infectious cough, now in order to clarify the curative effect of the acupuncture treatment of breathing reinforcing by observing the improvement of the subjects' symptoms during the experiment and comparing the experimental group with the control group,to explore a more effective method of acupuncture treatment in the clinical treatment of Post-infection cough.Method60 cases of eligible patients with post-infection cough were included in the experiment, the patients were randomly divided into experimental group(n=30)and control group(n=30).Feishu(BL13)of The Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang;Tianrong(SL17)of The Small Intestine Meridian of Hand Taiyang;Zhongfu(LU1),Lieque(LU7),Taiyuan(LU9)of The Lung Meridian of Hand Taiyin by using disposable acupuncture needles. When experimental group achieve the arrival of Qi,remind the patient to do even, slow and tolerable breathing movements, continue to do Breathing reinforcing by manipulating the needle for 9 times.Respiratory supplements are used except for Taiyuan(LU9).The acupoint selection of the control group was the same as that of the experimental group.Even reinforcing and reducing movement are used except for Taiyuan(LU9).Leave the needle for 20 minutes.Treatment twice a week,2 weeks for a course,2 courses of treatment make a total of 8 times.Data were collected at two time points before and after treatment, and the improvement of symptoms before and after treatment was compared by the experimental group and the control group, and the clinical outcome was evaluated for the final result of the treatment.Experimental ResultAfter 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group treated with acupuncture supplementation was 93.3%,and the total effective rate of the control group without acupuncture supplementation was 73.3%,both methods have therapeutic effects on PIC.The total cough score of the observation group decreased from 3.93±1.14to0.83±1.05;The cough visual analogue score decreased from 5.74±1.82 to 0.77±1.12;The LCQ score increased from 10.91 ± 2.07 to 18.68 ± 2.31.The total cough score of the control group decreased from 3.80±0.97 to 1.87±1.54;The cough visual analogue scale score decreased from 5.68±1.84 to 1.81±1.91;The LCQ score increased from 9.69±1.28 to 15.91±3.82.According to statistics, the three groups of indicators for evaluation of efficacy were better than the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05),and no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment. Conclusion and SignificanceRespiratory supplements are used except for Taiyuan(LU9).The control group acupunctured the same acupoints and take even reinforcing and reducing movement. After analyzing the data, the results showed that the clinical effect of Breathing reinforcing of acupuncture treatment of respiratory cough after infection was satisfactory. This method can significantly improve the frequency and extent of cough patients after infection and improve the quality of life of patients. This test provides a basis for future clinical treatment of PIC and a variety of related respiratory system diseases. This theory has the value of clinical promotion after more comprehensive and comprehensive research in the future.
