Objective: Patellar osteomalacia is a common soft tissue injury in knee joint injury. Its incidence is more than one-third.The main clinical manifestations of this disease are knee joint pain.Climbing stairs and squatting pain are its main characteristics, which seriously interfere with patients' daily work and life. Therefore, the treatment of this disease is particularly important. In order to find a simple, feasible and effective functional exercise program for the treatment of patellar malacia, this study tried to treat patellar malacia by means of exercise intervention.Subjects were asked to do 30 degree squat with sitting knee stretching,45 degree squat with sitting knee stretching and simple sitting knee stretching.A comparative study was made on 30 degree squat with sitting knee stretching and 45 degree squat with sitting knee stretching. The effect of knee exercise on the improvement of knee pain symptoms in female patients with patellomalacia. Methods: According to the experimental requirements,102 female volunteers were recruited to participate in the study.According to the principle of randomized control, the subjects were divided into three groups: 30 degree squat with sitting knee stretching exercise group(group A,n = 34),45 degree squat with sitting knee stretching exercise group(group B,n = 34)and simple sitting knee stretching exercise group(group C,n = 34).The experiment lasted for 4 weeks.Five groups were executed every other day,and the rest time was 1 minute. The VAS score,Lysholm knee joint score,Q-angle and clinical efficacy after treatment were tested before training, after training for the second week and after training for the fourth week. The obtained data were processed by SPSS 23,and the statistical methods such as contingency table,chi-square test,single-factor ANVOA and double-factor ANVOA test were applied to the data analysis of the study.Results:(1)VAS scores showed that after 4 weeks of training, the VAS scores of A and B groups were lower than those before the start of training, with significant difference(P < 0.05).After 4 weeks of training, the VAS score of group B was lower than that of group A and group C(P < 0.05),and that of group A was lower than that of group C(P < 0.05).(2)Lysholm knee score content:(1)Pain: After 4 weeks of training, the pain scores of group A and group B were higher than those before training, with significant difference(P < 0.05),and the pain scores of group A and group B were higher than those of group C,with significant difference(P < 0.05),but the pain scores of group A and group B did not change significantly(P > 0.05).)(2)Instability,interlocking,staircase climbing and squatting: After 4 weeks of training, there was no significant change in the scores of the three groups compared with those before training(P > 0.05).Compared with group A and C,there was no significant change in the scores of group B and group C,and there was no significant difference in the scores of group A and group B(P > 0.05).(3)Q-angle results showed that after4 weeks of training,Q-angle values of group A,B and C did not change significantly compared with those before training(P > 0.05).In addition, there was no significant difference between group A and group C,and between group A and group B(P >0.05).(4)After 4 weeks of functional exercise, the total effective rate of group B was the highest(84.3%),group A was the second(51.6%)and group C was the worst(10.7%).Conclusion:(1)For 4 weeks of functional exercise,30 and 45 squatting combined with sitting position knee extension exercise has significant effect on improving knee pain symptoms in female patients with patellomalacia.(2)The effect of 45 degree squat combined with sitting knee extension exercise is better than that of30 degree squat combined with sitting knee extension exercise.
