Comparison Of The Curative Effect Of Immediate Implant Restoration And Residual Root Preservation Restoration In The Treatment Of Anterior Residual Root Root Defects

Objective:By comparing the curative effect of immediate implant repair and ? type coloboma of tooth residual root before residual root conservative prosthetics to provide a reference for clinical treatment.Methods:Selecting a case of ? type tooth defect in residual root of anterior teeth by immediate implant repair or residual root conservative prosthetics to return visits to patients at Department of Stomatology,Chinese Medicine Hospital,Wenshang County,Shandong Province,from June 2011 to June 2013.Check the mobility of the restoration,gingival index(GI),alveolar bone absorptive degree,secretory volume of restoration's gingival crevicular fluid.Determine the secretory volume of restoration gingival crevicular fluid(GCF)in unit time.The restoration was evaluated with PES and WES.Using questionnaire to investigate the effect of restoration appearance and masticatory function on the quality of life of patients.Through the statistical analysis,we made quantitative comparison of the obtained contents to observe whether there were differences in therapeutic effects between the two treatments.Result:The total return visit cases of the immediate implant repair group(Group A)was 15,including offending teeth 17,and the average age is 36.7 ±10,while the total return visit cases of residual root conservative prosthetics(Group B)was 14,including offending teeth 17,and the average age is 37.9±12.9.There was no significant difference in age distribution between the two groups(P > 0.05).The effect of restoration stability and masticatory function on quality of life of patients in group A is better than that of group B(P<0.05);the gingival crevicular fluid secretory volume in group B was significantly higher than that in group A(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group A and group B in the effects of periodontal health,aesthetic effects and restoration appearance on the quality of life of patients(P>0.05).Conclusions:Immediate implant repair and residual root conservative prosthetics can be used to treat ? type defects of anterior tooth.However,by comparing the curative effect of the two treatments after 3 years,we found the effect of restoration stability,periodontal health and masticatory function of residual root conservative prosthetics after treatment on the quality of life of patients have some deficiencies comparing with the immediate implant repair,which should be taken into account when the stomatologist formulates the treatment plan.
