Clinical Observation Of Catgut Embedding At Acupoints For Treatment Of Corpus Luteum Insufficiency (spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective:Taking oral progesterone capsules as a positive control to evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding treatment for splenorenal kidney deficiency(luteal phase defect,LPD),and to preliminarily discuss the effect of the treatment on luteal function,provide objective clinical bases for the promotion and application of the therapy.Methods:Sixty patients with luteal insufficiency of spleen-kidney yang deficiency were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.56 patients were eventually regarded effective cases,including 28 patients in the observation group(embedded group)and 28 patients in the control group(oral progesterone capsules).The observation group took acupuncture catgut embedding treatment for 3 menstrual cycles.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared by basal body temperature(BBT),serum progesterone(P)values,and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatmentto preliminarily discuss the effect of the treatment on luteal function.Results:1.Compared with pre-treatment,both two groups showed a decrease in symptomatic points after treatment and follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),which indicated that both groups could effectively improve the clinical symptoms of TCM.Compared with the control group,the after treatment and follow-up of TCM symptom integral extent of observation group were significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.01),which indicatedthat the control group has more advantages in improving the clinical symptoms,and more stable subsequent effect.2,compared with before treatment,BBT(high temperature phase number,HPS score),middle luteal serum progesterone value of both groups after treatment were increased(P < 0.05),which showed that both group had positive effects on BBT and the value of serum progesterone benign;Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference between the two groups of BBT and the serum progesterone value in the medium stage after treatment(P>0.05).3.Compared with the two groups in terms of of TCM syndromes,the effective rate of observation group was 92.86% and the rate of control group was 75.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).the overall efficacy rate of observation group was 89.29%,and that of the control group was 92.86%,and the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05),which indicatedthat the observation group could improve the TCM symptoms of the patients more effectively,and the overall efficacy of the two groups was comparable.4.No adverse reactions were observed in all the patients in the observation group,and 3 patients in the control group showed mild adverse drug reactions.Conclusion:The treatment of acupoint catgut embedding for LPD with the deficiency of spleen-kidney yang can effectively improve the patients' BBT,serum P value and scores of TCM syndromes.The overall curative effect is equivalent to that of progesterone capsules.And the treatment of acupoint catgut embedding forthis disease is better than progesterone capsulesin terms of the improvement of TCM syndromes,and the follow-up effect of the control group is more stable.The treatment has a significant improvement on luteal function,and it is worth of clinical application.
