Objective:For patients with patellofemoral joint pain syndrome, develop targeted exercise prescriptions for quadriceps training.Analyze the data before and after the subject's intervention.Evaluate the clinical rehabilitation effects of quadriceps femoris exercise intervention. Then provide a clinical guide to optimizing the exercise intervention. Methods: Selecting 40 sporting enthusiasts who meet the PFPS standard in the Center for Treatment of Undiagnosed Diseases in Orthopedic Hospital of Sichuan Province.Randomly divided into exercise intervention group and traditional acupuncture group. The exercise intervention group develops quadriceps exercise program for 8 weeks,3 times a week. The traditional acupuncture group uses local acupuncture to treat the affected knee for 8 weeks,3 times a week.Evaluation of PFPS patients using the Victorian(Institute of Sport Assessment(VISA))before and after the experiment. Before and 8 weeks after the experiment,isomed2000 isokinetic test system was used to test the maximum centripetal peak torque of the quadriceps and the maximum humeral muscle peak torque at 60°/s,and the knee functional ratio was calculated. Results: After 8 weeks of intervention, the VISA scores of both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, with significant significance(P<0.001).The VISA score of exercise intervention group was higher than that of traditional acupuncture group(P<0.001).Compared with the pre-experiment,the peaks of centripetal quadricepsy centripetal peak torque and eccentric hamstring eccentric moment increased at 60°/s,and there were significant differences before and after the experiment(P<0.001).The peak torque exercise intervention group of hamstring and quadriceps muscles was larger than the traditional acupuncture group, with significant differences(P<0.001).Before and after the experiment, the functional ratios of knee joints were significantly improved(P<0.001),and there was no significant difference between groups. Conclusion: 1.It has a significant effect on the development of exercise prescriptions for quadriceps exercise intervention in patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome and is worthy of clinical promotion.2.The intervention of the quadriceps muscle and the local acupuncture of the knee joint both can improve the pain symptoms of PFPS patients. The exercise of the quadriceps muscle exercise intervention is more obvious than the local acupuncture.3,Quadriceps exercise intervention and local acupuncture treatment both increased muscle strength, exercise intervention group muscle strength improvement is much greater than local acupuncture group.Local acupuncture group muscle strength may be due to early muscle's length has been changed, and muscle inhibition has been relieved by pain suppression and muscle strength has been restored.4.Both groups can improve knee function without significant differences.
