| Purpose: This study intends to observe the efficacy and safety of Xiaochaihu decoction in the treatment of cancer fever.Methods:According to the criteria of inclusion and exclusion,60 patients with cancer fever were selected from October 2016 to December 2017 in the Oncology Department of the first affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the order of treatment,60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)by using Doll's clinical cases random table method(30 cases of Xiaochaihu decoction ibuprofen sustained release capsule group,30 cases of ibuprofen sustained release capsule group),The treatment group was given Xiaochaihu decoction200 ml / time,orally twice on 1st,taking ibuprofen sustained release capsule 0.3g / time during fever.The control group was given ibuprofen sustained release capsule 0.3g / time,taken orally for each fever,no more than twice a day.Results:(1)Short-term antipyretic comparison: there was significant difference in short-term antipyretic effect between the two groups(p < 0.05).The antipyretic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Total antipyretic comparison: The total antipyretic effect of the treatment group was 23(the effective rate was 76.7m),and that of the control group was 15(the effective rate was 50%).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The total antipyretic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Comparison of quality of life: the difference of quality of life between the two groups was statistically significant(p < 0.05).The improvement of quality of life in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.The ratio of TCM Syndromes integral Comparison: the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than those in the former group(P < 0.05),and the scores of TCM syndromes in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(p < 0.05).(2)The results of blood,urine,stool routine,liver and kidney function were all within normal medical reference value before and after treatment,and ECG were normal before and after treatment.It is safe to use Xiaochaihu decoction in clinic,no side effects and side effects have been found.Conclusions:Xiaochaihu decoction is superior to ibuprofen sustained-release capsule in the treatment of cancer fever in short term and overall antipyretic.It can improve the quality of life of patients and is safe and reliable.It is worth popularizing. |
