Research On CMF Design Method In White Household Appliances

CMF design is a conventional name for the design of Color,Material and Finishing of the research object in the long-term design practice.CMF of white household appliances usually includes five design elements such as Color,Materials,Finishing,Pattern and skin Texture.It can be classified by these five design elements combination and integration innovation to provide rich visual features for white goods,which in turn help products more competitive in the fierce market competition.CMF design of white household appliances requires comprehensive consideration of the development rhythm,cost capacity,iterative efficiency and other factors of white household appliances products.This paper combines the CMF design experience of white household appliances with the methods of analogy,case analysis,induction and synthesis,puts forward the CMF design method of white household appliances,and studies to establish a reasonable and efficient business system of CMF design of white household appliances through the design methods of different dimensions.CMF design is still in the exploration and development stage.Based on the research on CMF design method of white household appliances,this paper can provide more effective work guidance for CMF designers and CMF design managers in enterprises,and also provide certain reference for CMF development research and talent training of enterprises and universities.
