Research On The Application Of Cmf In Smart Home Electrical Appliances Based On Traditional Technology

People's lifestyles have been changing by information technology innovation,particularly,the rapid development of Intelligent home appliances makes people's lives depend upon them.Industrialized production models lead to more and more serious product homogeneity.In this context,additional cultural values beyond the function of the product are gradually becoming consumers' concerns.The birth of the CMF design has provided a norm for us to search the differentiation by creating products that are tailored to the needs of the marketplace and the user in terms of color,materials,and finishing processes.Jiaozhou paper-cut is an important branch of Chinese traditional paper-cut art,and has formed its own unique art style due to its specific geographical location,amongst various kinds of paper-cuts and its "colorful paper-cut" is even more amazing,and therefore Jiaozhou has been named as "The First Town of Chinese Paper-cut ".In the new era,the traditional art form should not be confined to the traditional way and should be innovated with the development of the times.The application of Jiaozhou paper-cut to the CMF design of smart home electrical appliances,can continue and inherit the geographical and cultural characteristics,but also change the way of thinking of the design of home electrical appliances.By documentation,field investigation and comparative analysis,our work discusses the feasibility of Jiaozhou paper-cut to the CMF design of smart home electrical appliances,thereby,providing the traditional artistic value for the innovation of CMF design in smart home electrical appliances.Our work elaborates the cultural background and geographical features of Jiaozhou paper-cut art,analyzes the color and pattern elements of Jiaozhou paper-cut products and summarizes the artistic value and artistic features of Jiaozhou paper-cut,thus laying the foundation for the application of Jiaozhou paper-cut to CMF design.The work also discusses the techniques of expression in application of Jiaozhou paper-cut pattern to smart home electrical appliances' CMF: such as,direct application,refining by deformation,and design principles to be grasped in the design;secondly,through the trend analysis of color,material and surface treatment process on the current smart home electrical appliances can provide theoretical support for the design.Finally,based on the preceding discussion and conclusion,practical proof has been carried out.The feasibility and rationality of the application of Jiaozhou paper-cut to the CMF design of smart home electrical appliances have been proved in the design of smart air purifier,smart heater as well as smart refrigerator.
