Research On The Authenticity Of Bakrishna Dorsey's Space Construction

As the winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2018,Balkrishna Doshi is a unique figure among contemporary architects.He doesn' t care about the architectural trend of fashion pioneers,but pays more attention to the local customs with regional characteristics,highlights individual differences,expresses humanistic concern,realizes social responsibility,and considers the local natural and cultural environment as a whole.He pursues to integrate the architecture into the overall environment,which has an obvious tendency of authenticity.Therefore,this paper takes the authenticity of Balkrishna Doshi' s spatial construction as the research object.First of all,it comprehensively analyzes the authenticity features contained in Doshi's works from three aspects,including the free generation of architectural form,the regional originality of technology,and the overall aggregation of space.Secondly,starting from the subject of "authenticity design of spatial construction",this paper expounds in detail the concept establishment,design preparation,process generation,achievement expression and other aspects of "design of temporary exhibition pavilion outside the school of Nanjing University Of The Arts".In the end,the value and significance,inspiration and revelation,reflection and prospect of the research on the authenticity of the spatial construction of Balkrishna Doshi are systematically summarized from two aspects of theoretical exploration and design experiment.Through these explorations and experiments above,we can grasp the core of Doshi's authenticity concept,so as to supplement and improve the existing research of Balkrishna Doshi,and then provide reference for the creation of architecture in China today.
