Olympic Fire

With the development of the Olympic Games,the role of the main torch platform in the Olympic venues has become more and more important.The design of the torch platform has become an important carrier for each host country to express the Olympic spirit,reflect the level of national economy and technology,and demonstrate the ability of comprehensive innovative design.This topic will focus on the development process and innovative design of the Olympic torch platform from three aspects.The first chapter,taking the historical origin of fire and the Olympic Games as the starting point,focuses on the function of the main torch stage of the Olympic Games,and the significance of the torch stage lighting and extinguishing ceremony.The second chapter focuses on the three important stages of the development of the modern Olympic Games,which are the group characteristics and design development vein.In the third chapter,taking the torch stand of the main venue of the Summer Olympic Games from 1984 to 2016 as the research object.This paper focuses on three aspects: the generation of design concept,the meaning of appearance design and the relationship between the design of main torch stage and the design of ignition ceremony.
