The Use Research On Olympic Arena That Built In Beijing University Of Technology After Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

Because the use modes, users and service objects of Olympic arena in and after the games are totally different, the capital investment and the scale of Olympic arena are so huge; each host of Olympic Games pays more attention to the use problem of Olympic arena after the games all along. There are four Olympic arenas built in universities for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, which not only bring a great chance for the development of university, but also have some problems, such as how to keep facilities well, use it sufficiently, and build a favorable use mode, to serve the P.E education and the fitness for the whole. The research meaning of this dissertation is that adjusts the function frame; use modes and management system of the Olympic arena to adapt to the request of competition, and to the public fitness. Consequently, it creates the economical benefit and social benefit.The paper takes Beijing University of Technology (BJUT)'s arena as the example to research its use modes, consumers around it and the request of community fitness. In order to build a general use mode, it takes the sustainable development of architectural function, flexible change of space as the technical means, promotes the P.E education as the basic aim, and satisfies the community fitness as support. Extending the function of Olympic arena that was built in university, it seeks an available way for the sake of keeping the arena operating well, creating favorable economical benefit and social benefit.This thesis includes seven chapters totally. The introduction discusses the background, meaning, the way of research and confirms the frame of research. Secondly, it shows the general situation of university's arena in Beijing and finds the problems for opening to the public. Thirdly, it analyses the research background of BJUT's arena, the function and effect, sets up the SWOT model of arenas use after the games. Fourthly, it discusses the operation mode of BJUT's arena after the games, combined it self-character with the P.E plan; concludes the use modes for each parts of the arena. Based on the different use modes mentioned above, chapter five analyzes the arena's spaces one by one, organizes the spaces by those modes, and puts forward some suggestions, which is in order to research the centre part of this building that is called venue. Sixthly, it discusses the use of training room and exterior space, brings forward some suggestions use after games, including the relationship between PE education and public fitness, among the exterior space, campus and society. The last chapter concludes the acts should be adopted in the operation and management for BJUT's arena, and analyses the effects by using those mode that mentioned above. Though researching the use of BJUT's arena and exterior space after the games, the production can provide the use for reference to the combination of physical and education and operation in reason. The principle parts are the chapter four, five and six.
