Guided by the concept of sustainable operation and maintenance, the National Aquatics Center "Water Cube" will host men’s and women’s curling and wheelchair curling competitions during the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. At that time,a curling track will be erected above the swimming pool in the competition hall, and two underground ice competition training venues will be expanded on the south square side. The "Water Cube" will be transformed into the "Ice Cube" and become a double Olympic venue."Ice-water conversion" has completely different technical requirements for the venue and indoor environment of the competition event.Curling is a highly skilled event. It is necessary to avoid damage to the flatness and hardness caused by the partial melting of the ice surface.Ice competition requires the lighting of the venue to be diffuse light and not direct sunlight.Ice rink cracking, height difference, unevenness, air condensation, ice condensation, etc.,will affect the performance of athletes,so the quality control of the ice surface has become the top priority of the entire Olympic Games. The original double-layer ETFE air pillow film structure ceiling system of the Water Cube not only provides good lighting, but also brings problems such as reduced indoor comfort and high cooling energy consumption.A large amount of heat radiation increases the load of the ice-making system on the ice surface. At the same time, due to solar thermal radiation irradiating the ice surface, the ice surface generates water vapor and diffuses to the ceiling. After encountering the cold wall of the ceiling,it condenses and forms droplets that fall back to the ice surface. These will bring a series of troubles the game. The research object of this article is the National Aquatics Center, and from the perspective of actual construction and architecture, comprehensively uses knowledge such as optics and heat, and uses literature research, field research and testing, theoretical derivation and simulation calculations to analyze the National Aquatics Center. The energy-saving design of the roof enclosure structure was studied. The first chapter firstly explains the research background, purpose and significance.Secondly,it summarizes and summarizes related research at home and abroad. Then it analyzes the research object and content of this article. Finally,it demonstrates the research methods and research framework used..Chapter Two firstly analyzes the functions and roof enclosure structure of the National Swimming Center under the requirements of the Double Olympics,t hen summarizes the special needs of the physical environment of the ice stadium from light and heat, and finally analyzes the solar radiation theory The heat transfer characteristics of the roof enclosure structure are analyzed and an energy-saving optimization scheme is proposed. The third chapter conducts on-site measurements of the ceiling enclosure structure of the National Swimming Center and the competition hall in winter, and analyzes the influence of additional shielding materials on the ceiling enclosure structure and the internal temperature, illuminance, humidity and solar radiation of the competition hall.Chapter 4 uses Sketch Up modeling,Energyplus software simulation, and multiple sets of control experiments to study the effects of different thickness and different laying positions on the ceiling enclosure structure and the internal temperature and humidity of the competition hall, verifying the effect of the shielding program And the feasibility of the roof energy-saving optimization scheme proposed in Chapter 2.From the perspective of architectural design,Chapter 5 puts forward three energy-saving optimization design principles of people-oriented,holistic,and sustainable operation and maintenance, and then selects several aspects of buildi ng structure, equipment and materials for venues similar to the National Aquatics Center.Propose a design strategy. It provides theoretical support for expanding the function of the venues after the game, realizing the winter and summer "ice water conversion" of the venue functions, and forming the exemplary sustainable operation legacy of the "Double Olympic Games".
