As the demand for non-asbestos sealing materials in China continues to increase,the performance requirements for non-asbestos gaskets are becoming more and more complex with the use environment of the sealing device,and the performance requirements are becoming more and more strict and continuously improved.At present,some high performance gaskets are close to or meet the performance level of traditional asbestos sealing materials,but due to the high price of new asbestos replacement materials,the cost of manufacturing asbestos-free gaskets far exceeds that of traditional asbestos gaskets.Therefore,there is still a large resistance to the non-asbestos implementation of the gasket material.Therefore,it is the direction and goal of this paper to improve and optimize the existing non-asbestos gasket material preparation process and preparation material formulation,reduce manufacturing cost and improve product cost performance competitiveness.As a new type of artificial composite fiber,QY composite cotton is an environmentally friendly fiber material because of its low price,excellent performance,no toxicity and no pollution.In this paper,QY composite cotton was added to the preparation material formula,and the tensile strength,compression rebound rate,creep relaxation property,density and loss on ignition of the asbestos-free gasket prepared by latex extraction process were tested and analyzed.At the same time,the comparison of preparation cost price analysis.The results show that the asbestos-free gasket prepared in some formulations of this paper has achieved the expected performance goals,QY composite cotton can effectively improve the overall performance of the gasket in the formulation of the gasket preparation formula,and can reduce the amount of aramid pulp used and reduce the manufacturing cost.
