Research On The Spatial Form Of Macau Square Based On The Relationship Between Accessibility And Visibility

In recent decades,China's construction of a large number of city square,largely improved the condition of the traditional city lack of public space,but in many cities,on the one hand,there are a number of large-scale,unwanted empty square,and the old town is still crowded and lacks public space,This strange image shows that the layout of the Chinese city square is not reasonable.At the present stage,most of the works and researches about the square are qualitative,lack of data and empirical support.In addition,most domestic researches on the square focus on material elements,aesthetic forms and other aspects,and there are few rational quantitative analysis and spatial structure analysis on the square.From the perspective of square attraction,studies on localization under China's national conditions are also scarce.These problems,in turn,make it difficult for domestic relevant workers to follow the basis in the planning,construction and renovation of the square and formulate systematic strategies to improve the quality and vitality of the square.Therefore,the research on the square needs more in-depth quantitative analysis and more extensive empirical exploration.Many designers usually regard the square as a discrete spatial entity.In terms of the square,they emphasize the closure of the square,or the quantity and quality of the sketches and decorations on the square and other local material spatial attributes,which indicates the lack of understanding of the relationship between the use pattern of the square and the overall urban environment of the square.This study is mainly based on the theoretical method of space syntax,trying to explore the influence of accessibility and visibility on the use of public space,that is,the specific square cases studied and the relationship between the fabric of the urban network they are embedded in and the frequency of use.This article analyze the historical and cultural city area-Macao peninsula city square,through the analysis of the different periods,different size,different functions and unbiased sample of many square,in order to draw lessons from the experience,draw lessons from it and hope to get inspiration,planning and construction of urban square is put forward some views and opinions.
