Quality Management Research Of LHP Pumping Station Renovation Project

Quality management is an important part of project management,and quality control is the top priority among the three quality objectives such as quality,investment and progress in pump station renovation.The project quality of the pump station renovation decides whether the project can be successfully completed as well as cost-saving,which even has a direct impact on the safety of people's lives and property.In implementation of the LHP pump station renovation in Shenyang,it is also faced with quality management problems,therefore,it is of great importance to find out the quality management problems and put forward corresponding solutions in pump station renovation project.Based on the theory of quality management of project,as well as research methods such as literature analysis,questionnaires,case studies and theoretical research,this paper defined the concepts of project quality and quality management,analyzed the characteristics of project quality management and discussed the zero-defect management of project quality,total quality management theory and general methods of project quality control.Applying Causal Analysis the main problems in the quality management of LHP pump station renovation and the main factors affecting quality management of project were analyzed,and solutions to problems of project quality management were studied.According to investigation and research,it is found that there are many problems in LHP pump station renovation project such as poor quality management awareness,the control over key points of project quality is not in place,quality management methods and modes are outdated,and the quality of quality management personnel is relatively low;The factors affecting project quality management mainly sterns from the quality of personnel,mechanical equipment,engineering materials,methods and environment.In response to the problems in the project quality management,it is proposed to establish and improve the quality assurance system of LHP project,by use of advanced quality management methods and models such as refined management and activity-based cost methods to strengthen the personnel assurance measures of quality management of the LHP project,thus to improve the project quality management.The innovations of this study mainly contains: In terms of research methods,a questionnaire survey was used to further investigate and analyze the quality management issues of LHP pump station renovation project and explore the main problems in the project quality management and their causes;Advanced PDCA Cycle Model,CausalityAnalysis,quality management methods,such as refined management and activity-based cost method were used to discuss the quality management issues of LHP pump station renovation project and put forward suggestions on how to apply these advanced management methods in practice;Lastly,based on the problems existing in the project quality management,countermeasures were proposed to provide valuable reference for management of other project.
