Planning And Design Research Of Experiential Theme Boutique Hotel

With the development and integration of the experiencing economy and the cultural tourism in this new era,people tend to pursue an in-depth experience of the leisure and the travelling with the high quality,which has promoted the hotel industry into a transformation.The professional team that is responsible for the investment and the management of hotel has been making progress and becoming mature.Therefore,the design has improved as well,indicating that the importance of devising a hotel has been emphasized by the thematic hotel.These hotels have been designed to achieve the most beneficial layout and demonstrate the space-cultural theme,prompting them to be intelligent,artistic and thematic,so as to meet the designer s purpose of culturally thematic hotel and to satisfy the consumers'integrative experience of uncrowdedness,conservation and the humanity.However,nowadays,some boutique hotels blindly chase the target of being"large and overall" and"luxurious and pompous".Consequently,the problem of homogenization has emerged.In this case,it is particularly important to study how the people-oriented,theme-experience-oriented design concept is applied to the planning of today s theme boutique hotels.To reflect the theme and stress the experience,this paper is based on the exploration of the experiential thematic hotel.Some relevant literatures are read and analyzed.We investigate various experiential innovation and theme with the combination of theoretical studies about boutique hotels and other classical cases in real life,in order to explore the modality,designation,theme,layout and the innovation of the experiential hotel.Our ultimate goal is to put forward some new research thinking and rationale by exploring the design of the experiential hotel,on the one hand,and by figuring out the trace of the developmental logic of these hotels.By the end of the paper,with the combination of the real situation and the analysis of the market demand,the empirical study of designing the experiential hotel featuring hot springs in South village of He Zhou in Guang Xi province is completed with the integrative consideration of theme selection,experiential items,narrative parts and the artistic spatial layout,which is based on the history,natural landscape and cultural characteristic after the exploration of the local culture.The eventual target of this paper is to realize the multi-directional development and integration of space design ideas of modern hotels.This realized by studying the transformation of design modality from traditional hotel layouts to the experiential&boutique hotel,by systematically analyzing different hotel design in various fields,by exploring the new modality for the innovative development of the experiential hotel.We advance the idea of being epochal and being experiential into a new height,providing more theoretical support and practical experience for the innovative design of being thematic and boutique in modern hotel.
