Research On The Art Deco Style In The Facade Of High-rise Residential Buildings In Wuhan

The Art Deco style is a style that has been popular in urban high-rise residential facade design in recent years.After the residential market experienced simple and cold modernism and rough and illogical European wind,its appearance satisfies people's demand for humanization and personalization of high-rise residential facades.On the other hand,this kind of style which originally used in the public building is better to integrate the high-rise housing itself into the overall construction of the city,so that the city's appearance is more harmonious and unified.Therefore,for a long time,Art Deco style has been recognized and respected by the majority of buyers,developers and government authorities.At the same time,in the process of large-scale construction of Art Deco-style high-rise residential buildings,because of the changes in people's needs,different product positioning,and advances in construction technology materials,a series of new changes are inevitably generated and integrated into other elements.Gradually they move toward "de-stylization" and form a new facade model.This paper takes the Art Deco style in high-rise residential building in Wuhan as the research object,and discusses its evolution process in depth.Firstly,the relevant theories of the modern Art Deco style were sorted out,and the information of typical Art Deco style buildings in China was collected.On the basis of field research,the common design techniques and style tendencies of residential buildings in Wuhan are classified and summarized,and the development context is summarized.The high-rise residential building materials of Art Deco style in Wuhan are collected.On the one hand,in the horizontal dimension of space,the differences between Art Deco style buildings in Wuhan and other cities are compared.On the other hand,in the longitudinal dimension of time,the existence and evolution of Art Deco style buildings at various stages in Wuhan since modern times are discussed.I inductively explore the law of evolution and analyze the causes of its flow.Finally,the development trend of Wuhan high-rise residential facade is prospected.It is suggested that the city should combine its own humanities with natural resource endowments to create a more high-rise residential facade model that is more suitable for Wuhan by more effectively using the Art Deco style facade design method.
